About Spice N Nice 2

Spice N Nice 2 is a Caribbean restaurant located at 707 Pulaski Hwy #1200, Bear, DE 19701, USA. They can be contacted at (302) 324-8074 or +1 302-324-8074. It is important to note that despite being listed under the category of Chinese Restaurant, the name and reviews clearly indicate it is a Caribbean restaurant.

Customers have expressed positive feedback about the food. One reviewer was "so glad" they found this "gem," stating it was "definitely worth it" to travel from Smyrna to try it. They found the "Price point is reasonable and the food tastes great," noting that it's their "new spot" for Caribbean food in Delaware, especially as it caters to their "seafood only diet without breaking the bank," and most importantly, "the food was awesome." They intend to return and recommend it to others.

Another customer, looking for a "decent Caribbean meal," visited based on a friend's recommendation. They noted that parking was limited due to multiple businesses in the small strip mall. The restaurant itself had a "small interior," was "modest and busy," and the ambience was "loud." They overheard complaints about the restaurant often running out of dishes. They ordered curry chicken, rice & pea with cabbage, and two beef patties, waiting about 15 minutes for their order. They found the food "tasty and appealing to the eye w/plenty of gravy" with "good" portions priced at the "industry standard." While they "was not blown away" by their first impression, they would return to try a different dish and would recommend the restaurant as "one of several Caribbean restaurants in the area."

Based on these reviews, Spice N Nice 2 in Bear, DE, offers tasty and reasonably priced Caribbean food, making it a potential go-to spot for those seeking this cuisine in Delaware, including those with seafood-only diets. Dishes like king fish, curry chicken, rice and peas with cabbage, and beef patties have been well-received, with good portion sizes. However, the restaurant can be busy with a loud atmosphere, parking is limited, and they may run out of certain dishes. While one first-time visitor wasn't exceptionally impressed, they were willing to return. Overall, it seems to be a recommended option for Caribbean food in the area.

The environment is described as a small, modest, and busy interior with a loud ambience, located in a strip mall with limited parking. Services include dine-in and likely takeout (implied by the nature of the cuisine and location). Key features are reasonably priced and great-tasting Caribbean food, including options catering to seafood diets, with good portion sizes. Potential drawbacks include limited parking, a busy and loud environment, and the possibility of dishes running out. No specific promotional information is available in the provided text.

I'm so glad my hubby and I found this gem. We came from Smyrna to give it a try and it was definitely worth it. Price point is reasonable and the food tastes great. It's so hard to find good Caribbean food in Delaware but this place is our new spot. We ordered the king fish, rice and peas with cabbage. It's hard to find a place that cater to our seafood only diet without breaking the bank but the most important part is the food was awesome. We will be back and I'm going to spread the word to my family and friends too. Thank you guys for this delicious experience.

Looking for a decent Caribbean meal, a friend recommended Spice N Nice. Hungry, and willing to explore, I visited Spice N Nice on a Thursday at approximately 2pm. The parking-various businesses competing for a limited amount of parking, in this small strip mall of stores. The restaurant-a small interior, was modest and busy. There was seating, and the ambiance (noise) was loud to me. Various customers ahead of me in line, I over heard them complaining that Spice N Nice often run out of certain dishes during the day. So, I ordered curry chicken, rice & pea with cabbage; and two beef Pattie’s. I waited about 15 minutes for my order. The food, priced at the industry standard, portions were good, and the food was tasty and appealing to the eye w/plenty of gravy. I would return and order a different dish, to compare my experiences. I was not blown away, with my first impression experience. I would recommend the restaurant to friends and family as one of several Caribbean restaurants in the area.

The food was great. I got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas. It tasted amazing and the portions are great it was spicy but not overly spicy. I wanted some oxtail but when I got there at 5 ish they had run out of everything, there was only jerk and curry chicken available and based on other reviews it usually happens. The place is clean but the people at the counter could use a bit more courtesy and manners. I will go back for more food

Tried their curry oxtail and it was terrible .. no meat on the bones and let’s just say curry don’t belong on oxtail. It was a complete waste of $17. The plantains were good that’s it.
