Southside Wings

No, never again. Greasy mess…OLD grease. I ordered a fish and shrimp combo, asked if they allowed a different side instead of fries, for my drink I got a bottle of water as I don’t drink the other options. Was given total of $18 when the menu says $13. Everything was an up charge lol. A bottle of water cost an extra $1 or $2 over “homemade” lemonade. I ended up getting a lemonade and giving it to a random person and getting the veggie rice. The rice was the only decent tasting thing from the plate. Cheap and burned shrimp, grease was too hot because the outside was burned but the inside was undone! Waste of time and money. The young lady at the register was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient!

I use to come to Southside faithfully. My first time going back in awhile was last night. My fries were not fresh, and they were hard. The wings were not fresh either. They were cold and hard. It looked like they were just sitting out, and somebody threw sauce on them. Instead of just making ten fresh ones. I didn't even eat it. I would've given it to my little girl and but she didn't even want it, and she love wings and fries. Just a waste of money and so unsatisfied.

The food is not worth it ! They DO NOT give refunds … the employees & manager is rude !!! I came from Charlotte to enjoy my weekend try something new & I spent $37.97 on DRY OLD COLD WINGS !!! AND FRIES !! the manager gave me a hassle on remaking my order & yelling getting smart with me all because I told her I wanted my food remade !!!!! I kept it cool and simple and said “ they don’t like a bad review “ and she got mad and continue with the disrespect … I don’t care bout the bread it’s the principle…. Customer service should always come first …. I will upload pictures as well!! I will never eat or recommend this spot to NOBODY !!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM ! You’re going to be highly upset !! I give 0 stars !!!!!!

I heard this place had some good food so I had to check them out. The wings are a 4 out 5 crispy and all, the Philly is trash 1.5 out of 5. The meat tastes like hospital food,( you guys can just buy steak-um) the juice is on point tho 5 out of 5. The best thing about this place I have seen so far is that they stay open late 🤷🏽‍♂️. I'll try them out again and post a new review if my mind changes.

It’s great for late night when everything is closed! It’s in the hood and has hood vibes but it’s safe and they are usually very kind. It has a fishy funky smell but they sell fried fish etc. I usually order the Honey Lemon Pepper Wings and they are superb! They are on the extra small size so be forewarned! But I Highly Recommend adding “Honey Lemon Pepper Fries” to your wing order! Delicious! As far as desserts, Did not care for their cakes at all…icing is too sweet and the cake tastes like its box cake.
