OMG where do I start… this is the best African food I’ve had in Chicago #HandsDown It’s always so fresh, hot and beyond delicious and they aren’t stingy with the portions. I’ve tried things I would have never thought to try in life and I have no regrets. The service is always amazing and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. To make things even better you can always find parking no matter how busy they are. So back to this good a** food lol I have to get some at least once a week and that never seems to be enough. I love them dearly and I hope they always stay amazing and delicious

If I could leave this place zero stars I would. I called and ordered Jollof rice and told them the rice was for an event on 12/15/24 and they said to come pick it up on Saturday 12/14/24. They asked me to pay up front and I asked if I can pay when I pick the food up, but they demanded I make a Zelle payment over the phone. I went to pick it up and they advised they don’t have the rice and proceeded to yell, be rude and berate ME as the customer. I told them I need the rice for an event. They advised they are closed Sunday but will make the rice and I can pick it up. I called all Sunday morning and afternoon and no one picked up. I have been calling for two weeks to get a refund and the extremely rude staff keeps hanging up on me. At this point it’s not about the rice or money but the lack of concern or care about customers time and money. I will do whatever it takes to make sure they understand they chose the right one to play with!

Egusi soup was seasoned, the beef was tender the pepper sauce was good the Jollof rice was good cooked tender and flavored had a slight burnt after taste but mixed with the egusi soup it was good and flavorful I will return . The price was very reasonable

I found this restaurant on TikTok a creator said it was a good place for food. I went to try for myself. David was the cashier/server he was ok 3 out of 5 but the food was terrible my joloif rice was scorched and my eguisi soup was dry and lump. Never again will I give $30 for such trash!!! Pieces of meat and they charge $2.99 per piece of meat.This is not for me.
