We lost a treasured restaurant, an amazing part of the community. The employees will be missed. The town will never heal. Chinese food as good and consistent as the food that was served here will never be found elsewhere. RIP South China Gourmet I wouldn't have made it this far in life without the food you made.

The portions are laughable. For the amount they charge I'd expect at least ⅓ more food. Speaking of the food, it was not bursting with flavor. In fact, it was quite mediocre. I was looking for a new place to try and this is not it. However, the service is slightly better than average. Lastly, the over all decor is drab, dreary and depressing. In a word, terrible.

Friendly staff, been living in Whitman right down the street from this place for about 2 years now. To me, the food always seems to improve with each visit. Can't complain. Pretty good overall, haven't had a bad item yet.

I drive 45 minutes from my house for their food. I have been ordering from them for years. GREAT food and REALLY GREAT prices. Excellent Customer service....sooo friendly and you get Huge portions for a low price... DEFINITELY a place to try.

Our egg rolls and chicken fingers weren't given to us, we drove back to get them only together charged for the chicken fingers because they didnt put them on our order to start with. To their credit, they did give us extra egg rolls to apologize and we asked for the beef to be well done and it was.
