About Soho Hibachi Express

Soho Hibachi Express, located at 1990 Wadsworth Blvd #9 in Lakewood, Colorado, is a Chinese restaurant offering a convenient option for local diners, primarily focusing on takeout services. While categorized as a Chinese restaurant, customer reviews suggest they offer a range of dishes, including what some describe as hibachi-style or East Asian cuisine.

Based on customer feedback, the service at Soho Hibachi Express is generally quick, with one reviewer noting their takeout order was ready within 15 minutes. This suggests efficiency for those looking for a fast meal option. However, it's worth noting that the speed of service might be influenced by the time of the order.

Regarding the dining environment, reviews indicate that the interior of the restaurant is quite basic, described as "mediocre" and "not anything to write home about." One review mentioned a relatively open space with around nine tables and chairs, suggesting a lack of privacy for dine-in customers. Cleanliness was also a concern raised by some reviewers, though specific details are limited.

The food appears to be a highlight for many customers. The Chicken Skewers are praised for their generous size and juiciness, despite some charring on the ends. The Chicken with Mixed Veggies dinner combo is also well-received, featuring a diverse mix of vegetables and tender chicken. However, one reviewer noted that the chicken cooled down quickly. The Fried Rice received a more neutral rating, described as "fine" but potentially dry and not a traditional Chinese fried rice, with some suggesting a Mexican influence.

It's important to note a negative review regarding the Singapore noodles, which were described as lacking flavor and disappointing. This suggests that the quality and flavor profile might vary across different dishes on the menu, and caution is advised when ordering certain items for takeout without prior inspection.

In terms of pricing, one customer's takeout order, including Chicken Skewers, Chicken with Mixed Veggies with Fried Rice, a convenience fee, and tax, totaled $26.25 before tip. Considering the large portion sizes mentioned, this was deemed satisfactory by the reviewer. The Chicken Skewers were priced at $8.99 for four, and the Chicken with Mixed Veggies dinner special was $13.99 with an an additional $2.00 for fried rice.

For local users in Singapore considering Soho Hibachi Express based on this information, it's important to remember that this restaurant is located in Lakewood, Colorado, USA, and the reviews reflect the experiences of customers in that area. If you happen to be in the vicinity, Soho Hibachi Express seems to offer quick takeout service with generally well-received main dishes featuring generous portions. However, the dine-in experience might be less appealing due to the basic environment, and there are mixed reviews regarding certain dishes like the fried rice and Singapore noodles. It would be advisable to consider these points when making a decision.

I think that every place should be reviewed, from the worst to the best to the just okay. TLDR: This place is... pretty good! I really enjoyed the food, and the service was very quick. The actual restaurant was a bit mediocre, but I can't provide many details on that since I ordered takeout. I saw one review saying they had an issue with ordering out using Menufy, and I believe that's been resolved as I had no issues! The service was quick, and I received my order within 15 minutes of me ordering. Though I did order at 9:30 at night so that probably had something to do with the quickness. The inside of the restaurant wasn't anything to write home about. A good 9ish kinda big tables with chairs placed around an empty main room. Little privacy and I can't speak to the cleanliness sadly, which I know some people mentioned wasn't the best. I ordered the Chicken Scewers (first and second pic) and the Chicken with Mixed Veggies (third pic) dinner combo with Fried Rice (fourth pic). The Chicken Scewers were $8.99 for four of them, which I thought was a bit pricy until I got them. Very big pieces of chicken and very juicy. The skin was a bit burnt, but it was mostly at the ends. I was worried about the chicken itself being cooked alright since I've seen some reviews about food poisoning, but the chicken was cooked fully! Very good otherwise, 8/10. The Chicken and Mixed Veggies (dinner special) was $13.99 with an added surcharge of $2.00 for the fried rice. This sounded about right and what I'd usually pay for at a typical East Aian restaurant. The chicken was more thinly cut and was also very good and juicy. The chicken got cold and a bit quickly, but I was fine with that. The veggies we *very* mixed as well. From broccoli to bell peppers, there was everything. I think there were red and green bell peppers, mini corn, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and cucumber. 9/10 The Fried Rice was...fine? I don't usually get fried rice as I'm not a huge fan of rice in general, but it tasted more or less fine. It's a bit dry and stale, and I saw some people say that it was Mexican fried rice? I think it may be after looking at some pictures online. 6/10 There was also a Convenience Fee of $1.50 and a Tax of $1.77. In total, without tip, my order was $26.25. Considering I'll definitely have leftovers with how big the portions were, I'm satisfied with that.

please don’t get the combination Singapore noodles…. no flavor…just a waste of my money… very disappointing. i’d definitely go in person and pick food like that so you can see what you’re getting, instead of ordering online. I paid about $15 for this and an Arizona green tea. this was the saddest meal i’ve had in a while after a 4 mile hike. i won’t be back.

Food is not bad, but leaves a lot to be desired. Crab cheese wantons were great, though. Salt and pepper shrimp is quite bland. Seasame chicken would be tasty if wasn’t so dry. Lots of better $1.35+ scoop places around, but at least this food was inexpensive. Not terrible for the price, but I’m probably going somewhere else next time

This is a very affordable and friendly place if you're looking for quick carryout. It's not a fancy, sit-down place, but the food is consistent and it's a nice local option. The steamed dumplings, a glutinous variety, are very good.

The lady working tonight instead of asking me to move pushed me. That was insane. I was waiting on a door dash order and had to watch the people working be rude to everyone who walked in. They were very busy and I understand it’s the holiday but I don’t like being touched especially by strangers.
