About Sino Wok Chinese Eatery

Sino Wok Chinese Eatery is a Chinese restaurant located within the food court of Cross Creek Mall, at 419 Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville, North Carolina, 28303, USA. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Sino Wok operates as a fast-food eatery offering Chinese-inspired dishes for mall shoppers and local residents. They can be contacted at (910) 223-7656 or via their mobile number, +1 910-223-7656, for inquiries.

Based on recent online customer reviews, experiences at Sino Wok Chinese Eatery appear to be somewhat mixed, with both positive and negative aspects highlighted. One customer, who decided to try Sino Wok after an extended period of not visiting the mall, reported that the service was good and the overall serving size was generous, potentially enough for a family. However, a significant drawback for this reviewer was the lack of flavor in the food. They specifically mentioned that the Bourbon and Mandarin Chicken, which they ordered as a two-item and rice combo, lacked sufficient sauce and seasoning, resulting in dry chicken. This customer recalled a time when Sino Wok was more appealing but expressed doubt about ordering from them again, especially considering the total cost of their meal with an egg roll was over $12, and they regretted not choosing a Thai option that offered samples.

Another reviewer described Sino Wok as "Chinese fast food inside the Cross Creek mall food court." This customer found the food to be "ok" and noted that the portion size was good. However, they also pointed out an additional charge of $1 for hot oil, which might be a consideration for customers who prefer spicy condiments. This review provides a more neutral perspective, suggesting that the food meets a basic level of satisfaction and that portion sizes are adequate for a fast-food setting.

Considering these two recent reviews, a few observations can be made about Sino Wok Chinese Eatery. In terms of service, at least one customer found it to be good. Regarding portion sizes, both reviewers indicated that they were either enough for a family or simply good, suggesting that Sino Wok is reasonably generous with the amount of food provided. However, a significant concern raised by one customer is the lack of flavor and dryness of the chicken in the Bourbon and Mandarin Chicken dishes, indicating potential inconsistencies in food preparation or recipe execution.

The environment of Sino Wok is described as being "inside the Cross Creek mall food court," which typically implies a casual, fast-food setting with shared seating areas provided by the mall. Customers can expect a bustling atmosphere common to food courts, catering primarily to shoppers looking for a quick meal. The focus is likely on efficiency and convenience rather than a formal dining experience.

The services offered by Sino Wok would primarily include takeout, as is typical for food court eateries. While seating is available in the general food court area, it is not exclusive to Sino Wok customers. The mention of ordering a combo meal and an egg roll suggests a standard fast-food menu structure with options for combining entrees with sides and extras. The additional charge for hot oil indicates that condiments might not be included standardly and may incur an extra cost.

Features of Sino Wok, based on the limited information, include offering standard Chinese fast-food fare, such as Bourbon Chicken and Mandarin Chicken. The availability of combo meals with rice and the option to add items like egg rolls are also typical. However, there are no unique features highlighted in the reviews that set Sino Wok apart from other similar establishments, aside from the specific dishes mentioned and the additional charge for hot oil.

The provided reviews do not contain any information about specific promotional offers or discounts that Sino Wok Chinese Eatery might be currently running. Fast-food restaurants in mall food courts sometimes offer daily specials or combo deals, but there is no mention of such promotions in the available feedback. Local users interested in potential promotions would need to visit the eatery or contact them directly.

In conclusion, Sino Wok Chinese Eatery in the Cross Creek Mall food court offers a convenient option for Chinese fast food in Fayetteville, NC. While the service and portion sizes have been noted as satisfactory by some, there are concerns regarding the flavor and preparation of certain dishes, such as the Bourbon and Mandarin Chicken, which one customer found to be lacking in sauce and seasoning, resulting in dryness. The environment is typical of a mall food court, emphasizing quick service and casual dining. Services primarily include takeout, with dine-in available in the shared food court seating area. A notable point is the additional charge for hot oil. As there is no information on current promotions, potential customers may wish to consider these recent experiences when choosing their dining options within the mall. For more details on their menu and any potential specials, direct inquiry with Sino Wok is recommended.

Haven't been to the mall in forever & today decided to give Sino Wok a try. Service was great & overall serving size was enough for a family but everything lacked flavor (not enough sauce) seasoning on chicken & every piece was dry. I ordered the 2 item & rice combo Bourbon/ Mandarin Chicken. This place use to hit years ago but would I order from here again... Probably not. The total with egg roll was a bit over $12 but I should have stuck with my 1st choice of the Thai location which offered samples 😊

My kids enjoy the food from here. They give a decent amount of food and the kids meal is a lot for one adult person…even comes with a drink. I spent $12 for 2 kids meals, can’t beat that. My son likes the honey mustard chicken while my daughter likes the blackened chicken.

Almost 5-6 Hours after eating here, I developed a stomachache. I put it off because maybe it was digesting and it worsened. I was continuously woken by the excruciating pain that my stomach was giving me and around 6:00 this morning I threw up really bad. I thought that it would be better in a couple of hours but I still had a real bad stomachache and I was told that they don’t take care of their food.

Like someone else said, I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about! This place is not only my favorite mall food, it’s in my favorite top five food places! Noodles are delicious, I even got offered a sample of the honey chicken! The food was hot and juicy, the service was incredible with kindness and patience! I love coming back when I can just because of the good service and good food! 10/10 would recommend!
