I really liked it. The food was very well prepared, with good flavor, especially the Special Fried Rice. They serve a lot because only small portions should be ordered for one. The chicken with honey and garlic was delicious. The place is not so nice but it is clean, the service is good and the food is fresh.

Great authentic Chinese food here. Give other dishes a try such as the salt and pepper shrimp. The shrimps are jumbo. The BBQ duck was also delicious. And for more traditional Cantonese favorites: the pans fried noodles. Other seafood goodness was the conch and fried tofu.

Silver Palace was out of my Chinese take list for over 7 years. The raise of prices or lowering portions of nearby Chinese restaurants over the past 3-4 years lead me to re-explore other take outs. I was very happy with the food portion and cost provided for Lunch as of January 2025. I had pepper steak and even though flavor was good and veggie to meat ratio was great the sauce was very watery . I will give it another try

I recently ordered takeout from Silver Palace Restaurant off Miller Drive and 137th Avenue, and I regret trusting the recommendation to try this place. It was one of the worst takeout experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered a quart of the special fried rice, expecting something decent, but what I got was disappointing and downright inedible. The rice was stale, and despite waiting 25-30 minutes for my order, it was clear the food was far from fresh. The quart only had two shrimp, and the typical extras like noodles, ham, chicken, and pork were almost nonexistent. The bits of meat that were included were dry, flavorless, and seemed like they were cooked separately and haphazardly tossed into the rice. On top of that, there was no egg added to the rice, which is a staple in any good fried rice. I also ordered plantains, which were just as bad. They tasted like they’d been fried in old, reused oil, making them hard to eat. Back in the day, at other restaurants, a quart of special fried rice would come loaded with all the goodies on top, making it a real treat to dig in. At Silver Palace, I opened the container to find just stale rice with nothing appetizing in sight.

They have a big canto menu and everything is served fresh. This is my first time visiting and was happy from how good the food was. I ordered the beef with Chinese broccoli and while it was a bit oily (most Chinese dishes are) the meat was tender and the broccoli crunchy. Service was very friendly, too. Prices are fair. I will come back many time more.
