Customer reviews highlight a range of experiences at Silver Palace. While some diners appreciate the convenience of its location and extended hours, others have expressed dissatisfaction with the food quality and service. Negative feedback also pointed to issues with service professionalism, such as a waitress clearing the table before dining was complete.

Below average food with poor service. Waitress delivered bill when I sat down with my second plate. I was clearly not done, but by the time I came back with my third plate, she had already cleared the whole table, so I paid and left. It was busy, but she actually pulled a napkin from my table dispenser to pick up trash on the floor as she walked by. Professionalism was non existent. Parking was easy.

The exterior of the business may be deceivingly attractive, but let's get straight to the point – the food here is downright awful. Save yourself the trouble and money because this place is not worth a visit. During my first and last visit, I was met with stale, flavorless dishes that left much to be desired. It's clear that this establishment is far from its glory days and has seen a noticeable decline in quality. Having sampled various Chinese restaurants across Houston, I can confidently say that this one ranks at the bottom of the barrel. In summary, skip this place and opt for better dining options elsewhere.

Bad food, racial discrimination, bad environment. I came here on 7/8/24, a black man with my white girlfriend looking to eat after a hurricane. The senile abomination who runs the place kept looking at me when I entered, it felt extremely targeted and out of place immediately. I’ve attached pictures as my proof of attendance, along with my receipt. The food was bad, just utterly disgusting. Chicken was over cooked, shrimp was not purged and dirty, pizza looked days old, same with the fruit. If the food sounds bad, don’t worry, it gets worse: I had to track down fortune cookies from a server because they never brought me one with my receipt, even though everyone else’s were lined up on a stand sitting with fortune cookies to match. Of course I simply went to ask my waiter, and they seemed to begrudgingly hand them over. Upon trying to leave, the senile and facially displeasing man ran after me and my girlfriend, confronting us about not paying. The funny thing is, not only did we pay, we tipped more than 20% to make up for the hard hurricane times. If you can’t appreciate us helping in a time of need simply based on a nonexistent marker such as race, you don’t deserve to have a business. These people don’t deserve to have a business.

We had a great time at Silver Palace, the food is delicious and there is good smell and always clean food. The atmosphere was great, there is no loud music like king star buffet. Come to Silver Palace, they have soft music in the background and not very quite. Floors very clean and they even have salmon sushi 🍣mixed with NYC (New York Rolls) tastes. They even have brownies cake. Thank you so much Silver Palace and we’re definitely coming back soon ❤️💚

Please check your receipt before you pay, I asked the waiter to remove an extra charge that I had in my receipt 1 adult for a 2 year old and drink for her that we never got, and he got mad, they charge for eaters height and if you don't check your ticket they will overcharge. Also, the waiter doesn't provide a good service 😠, obviously, that's because the tip is already included in your ticket 🙄. They end it up sending me to the reception so they can remove my charge, but it took a long time and a waste of time.
