Sichuan Pepper

From the reviews it’s seems to be very hit or miss the last few years. Generally I really enjoy most everything I order from there. Last night we tried the hot and spicy ribs which were tender, had just the right amount of spice and very good. We also got the general tsos chicken which was a little underwhelming this time. The smoked pork belly with leeks is always one of my favorite dishes. Overall very good restaurant which you can try some more unique dishes.

Sichuan Pepper in Vernon is a must-try! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was so friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. And the food? Simply amazing! Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic Sichuan flavor. If you're looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Sichuan Pepper!

I can't express enough how impressed and amazed we were with the menu and the food. Had to try the Preserved Eggs, Stir-fried asparagus lettuce, black fungus in vinnegarette, and a Mala pot. The eggs were amazing and just enough heat from the crushed chili and oil. Asparagus lettuce was so crisp and flavorful I was shocked. Definitely going back many more times because there is so much on the menu I've never seen nor tried before. That says a lot because I live for new experiences. There are so many different combinations you can make in the Mala pot it's going to be difficult knowing where to start! Definitely check it out. The in-person menu is better than online and take-out menu!

What we ordered was Vegetable Mein Fun but what we actually received was Shrimp Mein Fun. 🤦‍♂️ Imagine what would’ve happen if someone with seafood allergies would’ve eaten it. 🤷‍♂️ Can’t you guys be careful with what you were asked for? Added a picture for reference.

Faithful customer for many years. This is one of the only places in Central CT to enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine. I advise to wenture off the part of the menu in your comfort zone and try some of awesome choices deeper in the menue.
