About Sichuan Noodles

Welcome to Sichuan Noodles, a Chinese restaurant located at 9889 Bellaire Blvd Suite C-305, Houston, TX 77036, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant, Sichuan Noodles offers Sichuan style cuisine to the local community. They can be contacted at (832) 831-3038 or +1 832-831-3038.

Based on recent online reviews, customer experiences at Sichuan Noodles appear to be mixed. One reviewer described the Sichuan style food as "average" and reported a negative experience with the fried dumplings, noting an "off" taste with the meat described as "sour and fermented." While they mentioned good service and generous serving sizes, their overall impression of the food was just average, suggesting that perhaps different dishes might yield a better experience.

Another review expressed significant dissatisfaction, aligning with what they described as "bad reviews." This customer cited a negative initial impression upon entering the restaurant, followed by an encounter with a waitress described as "dry." They were disappointed that a soup they ordered did not resemble the advertised image and felt dismissed when they inquired about it. This reviewer also mentioned a lack of attentiveness from the staff, including no offers for refills and having to request their check. Additionally, they raised concerns about food handling practices, observing individuals prepping food with bare hands after handling dirty dishes.

The same reviewer also noted a perceived difference in treatment between customers of different cultural backgrounds. Overall, this customer strongly recommends against visiting Sichuan Noodles and stated they would not return.

Given these recent reviews, potential customers may want to consider this feedback when deciding whether to dine at Sichuan Noodles. While one reviewer found the service and portions to be adequate, significant concerns were raised about food quality and customer service by others. It might be prudent to look for more recent reviews or perhaps try other Chinese restaurants in the area to ensure a satisfactory dining experience.

Average Sichuan style food, unfortunately the fried dumplings tasted off?? The meat tasted sour and fermented?? I only mentioned to the owner after I paid, because we weren't sure if they meant to taste like that? Service was good and serving was generous, but food was just average. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes???

First off the bad reviews are on point according to our experience. Where do I start. We decided to try this place because we are people who like to try new places and things. This was one of the places in China town that wasn't packed or had a waiting line outside. Soon as we walked and sat down the vibes was not good. The waitress was just dry as could be. We ordered something of the menu and that was also advertised with an image of the supposedly the soup you would get. Once we got the soup it looked nothing like the picture. So I asked the waitress about and she responds "its just a picture" very dismissive and just walks away. We didn't not enjoy it and we left it but still payed for it. She definitely needs training on hospitality and customer service. Never offered to fix it or give us another option. We were never checked on. Never received offer for second refills. Also did not like the 2 ladies their were prepping dumplings and peeling peppers with their bare hands at a table across us. Keep in mind all while picking up dirty plates from tables and touching all kinds of things. Also if people that come to your restraunt that are not of your culture it's important to be welcoming and open as they may have questions. But soon as other customers entered their restraunt that were of their culture it was like they pull out the red carpet. Then we had to get up and ask for our check because the lady was too busy sitting at a table on her phone. 🙄 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WE WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Don't understand why they got so many bad reviews, but overall, I don't find their dishes too salty, but the dishes here do go well with rice. All the dishes I got today were tasty and nothing to complain about. I would definitely want to try their bao and beef noodles next time when I got the chance.

I like trying new restaurants every now and then. We tried this place and food was good. We only ordered the Shrimp fried rice and the Szechuan Spicy Chicken. The shrimp fried rice was yummy 👍👍 ate it with their fresh chili condiment, and it was really really good. The Szechuan Spicy Chicken, i really liked. It has a very strong flavor, and those numbing peppers really get you. So just a warning for those who dont like spicy food. Overall good experience. Would I go back? Probably, to try other things on their menu. Follow my instagram food diary @dailyasiankitchen 🙏❤️
