Based on recent customer reviews, the dining experience at Sichuan House appears to be inconsistent. While the service is frequently highlighted as a positive aspect, with waiters being described as very nice and caring, the food quality has received significant criticism.
Several reviewers found the food to be unrecommended. One customer mentioned that the chicken tasted fishy, like leftovers, and the fish was not very fresh. The cumin lamb was considered average. A positive note regarding the food was the garlic baby bok choy, which was well-received. Despite initial seating at a smaller table, the staff was accommodating in moving a party to a larger table when they ordered more food.
However, other reviews echoed concerns about the food. One customer who ordered vegetable fried rice with tofu reported that the dish contained virtually no vegetables other than a few tiny pieces of chive and was very bland, requiring them to repeatedly ask for duck sauce. Another dish, the Chinese broccoli, was described as overly cooked with large, unappealing chunks of vegetable.
Beyond the food, some environmental and service issues were noted. The lack of window shades was mentioned as annoying, causing blinding glare from car lights. Additionally, one customer reported an instance where they had to serve themselves water from a pitcher placed on their table and experienced difficulty in obtaining additional items like napkins and duck sauce, even when the restaurant was not busy.
Overall, while the service at Sichuan House seems to be a strong point for many customers, there are significant concerns regarding the quality and taste of several dishes, as well as some aspects of the dining environment and basic service provisions. Potential customers should weigh these factors when considering dining at this establishment.

Customer Reviews
The food at this restaurant is very unrecommended. We heard from our friends that this place is good so we came to this restaurant with high expectations. Drove almost half an hour to get here. I have to say the service is very good. But the food is really not recommended. The chicken was fishy like leftovers. The fish was just ok but not very fresh fish either. The cumin lamb was average. The garlic baby bok choy was great. I like this one. The waiter was very nice and caring. At first we were allowed to sit at a small table but because we ordered a little too much we were allowed to switch to a larger table. My friend and I were hungry so we had no choice but to keep eating we didn't want to waste it. Their food is as bad as pre-made dishes. All in all, the service is good but the food is not recommended.
1. No window shades so every time a car pulls in, ya sitting like a deer in blinding lights. #annoying 2. I ordered vegetable fried rice with tofu… take a look at the photo-not a single vegetable in the dish other than a few tiny pieces of chive…. It was also very bland. I had to keep asking for duck sauce. 3. The Chinese broccoli dish was overly cooked with garlic and the huge chunks of vegetable were unappealing. 4. My mom asked for more water and didn’t realize the waitress had placed the pitcher on our table- the waitress pointed to it and basically said serve yourself. It’s not a pleasant experience when you have to ask for more water, napkins, duck sauce, etc and the place isn’t busy. I wound up giving all my leftovers to a homeless guy outside the restaurant who needed it more than I did. I hope he enjoyed the food, and I wished him a Merry Christmas.
This place was highly recommended for it's unique food and their famous spice. We enjoyed our dinner until we found a gly inside our soup dumplings. INSIDE!!! The manager did remove the soup dumplings from our ticket but seriously at this point he should have taken care of the whole ticket. It is what it is. The waitress was super sweet and on top of things. The other staff as well. The place ....was questionable. Restrooms were filthy, tables weren't cleaned properly and the place just doesn't look sanitary. I don't know maybe we caught them on a bad day. The prices were fair but the food didn't live up to the hype.
Our first visit was good. We ordered the hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef and chicken lo mein. Everything tasted great and the wife loved all the ginger flavor in the food. My mom is full Vietnamese and she loves cooking with ginger too. Me no ginger fan, lol. But it was still good! The grand daughter ate it up. We wanted to play it safe the first go around. We plan to go back and try a few other dishes. The prices are fair and they offer a military discount. They are very nice and greeting.
Upon arrival, we had to wait close to 10 minutes, standing up, to be seated! The host at the door was not only the one who greeted us but was also the bus boy, waitress, and server!!! So we had to wait for her to clean a table off for us. While the guy behind the counter stood there watching her run around trying to accommodate everyone!! Unbelievable! That poor young lady was running the whole restaurant practically! I was not able to enjoy my food as it really broke my heart to see her working like a dog while the guy behind the counter stood there watching her. We left her a hefty tip for showing composure, all while having to deal with ungrateful customers and manage the whole restaurant. This restaurant needs to hire more wait staff instead of being cheap in not wanting to hire more employees to help out. And for that reason, I will not be going back. I could not enjoy my meal watching this poor young girl running around doing everything.
