Shut Up and Eat

Warm, friendly environment that made us feel instantly comfortable. The decor is eclectic in an “American Pickers” way. Very charming. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu selection is huge with all the traditional choices, but it except grits :-), and a lot of unique options, as well. I had the “Sloppy Mess” and it was amazing! Also got a side of pancakes made with fresh blueberries. Great choice.

Early appointment in Toms River this morning and we stopped by for breakfast after. My husband ordered the corned beef hash and eggs and I got Canadian bacon, tots, with scrambled eggs and pumpkin pancakes to share. The food was just perfect, it felt like home. Cozy atmosphere and our server was the best. I regret not introducing ourselves before we left as he did take care of us. We will definitely be returning. If you’re in the area, we highly recommend you stop by.

“Shut Up and Eat”!!! Is all you need to do! The delicious food makes sure of that. A true country home restaurant, that gives one the feeling that you’re “Back from the future”!! I kid you not! The decor and atmosphere tells it all, not to mention the waitress service, which was altogether different, but very friendly. And I have to add, that the coffee was very good too. I ordered cheese & spinach omelette, with a side of sausage links, which tasted like the bangers from England. Again “Shut Up and Eat” Is definitely a “Go for it” place. 10/10.

So much fun, incredible menu, fun decor including interesting 70s kitchen style tablecloths on every table, great prices, easy parking, clean and adorable bathroom also with funny decor, a roll of paper towels on a paper towel holder at every table, cool coffee mugs like your favorite at home, waitresses in pjs and very friendly, and if you wear your pj's you get 13% off your whole check!

Even though it is cash only, it was well worth scrounging up the cash. I tried the Hawaii 5 0 sandwich, and hubby had the wrap. It's surprisingly delicious and very different. Atmosphere was a collection of odd and end things all over the walls along with the chairs and dishes. Very cool and unique 😎. You simply must experience this place in person.
