Good comfort food, tasty sour and definitely was not stingy with the toppings! Pig ear was good but brought down the rating a bit, because it still had the pig smell to it. I realized it was a self serving place after 5 minutes of looking around because the server didn’t say anything to me, haha super awkward. Overall it was a good experience!

My favorite malatang place in Boston! The broth is super flavorful and spicy. They do not hold back on the portions. Gets you full for a good price. I go here at least once a month lol

The broth of malatang was OK, the waiter was very friendly and kind. However you must order by QR code, if you’re someone who’s familiar with self serve bar you better ask help to employee. I noticed that if you order 1 shrimp meatballs they put like 3-4… same logic applying for other toppings. I used to put very small amount of diverse toppings but here it is impossible you « control » the amount of toppings so be careful ! I ordered like i used to do at self serve bar and i ended up having 2 large bowls just for myself LOL but it didn’t really matter. I appreciate a lot for waiter’s help :) Ideally i suggest you to come with group and share soup

Small hole in the wall kind of place but solid noodle soup. Easy to order using the app. I recommend getting the beef soup base and then picking what noodles, meat, and vegetables you want added in (build your own). Be careful to not add too much! The portions are big and the price adds up the more you add. Service was attentive and accommodating. I accidentally ordered the wrong thing and the server canceled it for me so I could reorder. Our water glasses were never empty, which key because the broth can be a little salty and spicy.

Miss malatang so looked for one and decided to come here. You order by scanning menu on the table instead of the more popular way of people gathering what they want and price by weight but it works. I just wish the menu has more pictures of each ingredient. There are also preset combos but as a malatang connoisseur I have to order myself. The soup base is decent but little spicy is more spicy than other places which is not a problem for myself but just be warned if you can't eat spicy. Service is efficient and they refill water diligently. Place is clean and good enough for a malatang place. It's below street level so look down if you are looking for the place. Overall satisfied with this place. I like the 蟹黄肠 which is imitation crab roe.
