Shogun Wok

Local sushi place. Never tried this place before until recently. Can't say what it was like before they remodeled/reopened. But it's really good for the area. Always busy when I order which is good for them.

Never had an issue with these guys. They're very nice people in person and they cook good, no complaints, they feed me! Also, it's great to have a sushi place locally. My favorite order usually is beef fried rice and crab rangoons.

Ordered Chow Mein, Szechuan Chicken, Prok Fried Rice and Egg Drop Wonton mixed soup. The Chow Mein was just thick and oily with absolutely no flavor. The Szechuan Chicken was no spicy at all, it was so acidic and disgusting it was like eating throw up. It was my first time having egg drop wonton mixed soup so I’m not sure how it’s supposed to taste, but it had thickness of raw egg white and not much flavor either. Definitely not pleasant. The only saving grace was the pork fried rice, it was actually pretty good and probably even better with soy sauce if we got any.

Sushi was SO delicious and fish was fresh. So good!!! Best sushi we have had in a while. Ordered pick up and was ready within 15 min. New place looks great, super clean. Glad they are back open. Will definitely be back again soon!

We loved Shogun and when there was a fire and they were closed for so long, we couldn’t wait until they reopened. And now they have. What a disappointment. The place looks great. The remodel is very nice. They changed the menu. And I mean like cut 3/4 of the menu out. They no longer even offer standard Chinese cuisine. The sushi is still good but not as fresh as it was before. Our ordering once a week will have to be done with another place in town since they offer more options.
