What a gem of a restaurant to have here in Michigan! The interior was so inviting, beautiful, and clean. All of the food was savory and fresh without being greasy like a lot of other Chinese restaurants. They had a variety of cocktails although a bit on the pricey side. We ordered the basa fillet, shishito pork, and duck. All the meat wasted fresh and well-seasoned. The fish fell apart in the mouth like butter. The pork dish had a perfect spice level. The crepes that came for wrapping the duck were thin and well-executed. The service was attentive, and atmosphere elegant and quiet. We really enjoyed a long meal here. Would highly recommend for a date night or family gathering!

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, from the tablecloths to the chandeliers everything brought an elevated atmosphere to the space. However, that was the only enjoyable aspect. The food was extremely overpriced for the portion sizes. I had read this in prior reviews but was willing to forgive this if the food was high quality. Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered the chef special set sauteed green beans, the cumin lamb and rice for each. The rice was fine, certainly nothing to write home about. The green beans were similar, definitely the best part of the meal which isn't saying much. It was something that could have easily been made at home and tasted like it didn't incorporate any fresh spices whatsoever. The cumin lamb was an utter disappointment. The lamb had a horrendous texture. Completely overcooked and to me, tasted as though it had been cooked from frozen. My dining partner compared it to Taco Bell meat. The sauce was similarly lacking, but honestly the texture alone was enough to make it impossible to finish. $28 for maybe a cup of meat that was honestly inedible. We both chose to stop eating well before we were full out of concern for the quality of meat. Finally, the service. I would not have had a complaint about this if it wasn't for how our concerns about the lamb were handled. My dining partner and I are not the type to complain, however I did want to mention something in case this was a one off event. When we raided our concerns, she immediately responded with a dissimissive "that's how it always tastes. I've had it myself. It's always like that". There was no follow up with the kitchen much less the manager. I didn't expect a discount considering we had both attempted to eat it, but to dismiss someone's concerns about the quality of meat without double checking it at all is absolutely baffling to me and raises concerns about their standards for health and quality. I am a cook professionally so it was also extremely frustrating to be treated like I didn't know what lamb was supposed to taste like. Update: me and the person I had dinner with both felt sick the next day. I threw up, had to take the day off work, and spent most of the day in bed. Don't go there. Just don't.

I did not realize this was an upscale Chinese restaurant. The prices were definitely on the higher side while dish portions were more on the smaller side. As for taste, - the braised beef was disappointing. Carrots were not cooked all the way and the beef was very hard to chew. - Hot and sour soup tasted very clean. It was not as sour as I like, but still good. - Mapa tofu was well flavored with each tofu bite. This dish more of those numbing peppers than the average Mapa tofu. So drinking water after tasted weird. - The almond bread was my favorite with a sweet nutty crunchy center. Atmosphere is more upscale Chinese. This was probably the first place I’ve ate at that had two chopstick sets for each person. Hot tea was also a nice touch. Overall, it’s a nice place to bring family members who don’t like typical oily Chinese food. Definitely pricier, but you know the food and restaurant is clean.

4 stars I would say their food was good but a little bit pricy. We ordered three dishes plus a cocktail and it costed us 100+. The recommended dishes are braised pork and bamboo shoots. They were well cooked and well seasoned. We also ordered tofu which was delicious. The average wait time can be a little longer depending on the crowd but overall we had a great experience. Recommended for people who are looking for Chinese restaurant near this area.

The most notable thing about this place is the fantastic authentic food and the excellent service. The inside decor isn't quite as nice as the old Tribute restaurant was, but it is still very nice. Comfortable seating, quiet with good lighting. They have several rooms where you can have complete privacy that require a minimum order per patron. One of the things I liked most is that so many of the dishes come with a heating compartment below the serving platter. My very thin steamed fish with chili sauce stayed hot through the entire meal. Our entrees were delicious, as were the cocktails and included tea. Great night out. We'll be back.
