Shen's Szechuan & Sushi

Great food, I'll be happy to go back. The tempura was cooked perfectly. The sushi was made beautifully, and that's the one thing I forgot to take a picture of. The house salad was not my favorite, but it was fresh enough. I just prefer the creamy type of ginger dressing. It was quite busy on a Saturday night, and our waiter did a fantastic job. If you struggle to open heavy doors, like me, the entrance here is a bit difficult. Though they have a nice ramp to the entrance if you're using a wheelchair or walker.

This place is HUGE. Very good...certainly better than the Sichuan places we have in Cincinnati. A couple of things that keep it from 5 stars. They need to offer LAMB as a meat option and the menu could be a little more creative...i.e. offering hot pots, frog legs and tripe.

First time going 7-5-2024 around 2:30pm the outside appearance including the parking lot was horrible. You can see the rotten wood on the side deck of the restaurant and alot of structural damage. When you walk inside tho it is very well decorated and had a very peaceful ambience. How ever the place was extremely dirty. Floors appeared to not have been vacuumed in a few days. All of the tables around us were dirty with previous customers plates including the billfolds with the checks and tips and that seemed very odd. Our waitress only came by out table to take our order and our check but we had to wait about 35 minutes after we got done eating for someone to finally bring us a check. The sushi was not horrible at all but it was nothing to write home about. I think this place has a very good potential but it's just not the place for us. The entire situation appeared as if the owner or the staff no longer care to take care of the place

A friend and I wanted to go somewhere for NYE for an early dinner. Not many of our usual haunts were open and we decided to try this restaurant. It had been on my to try list for awhile. And boy I was not disappointed. It is now going to be added into our regular rotation. Jun was our waitress and she was engaging, helpful and fun. We ordered old fashioned's and they were delish. They had quite an extensive bourbon list, which was a great surprise! All the food was amazing, and you couldn't ask for better service. The atmosphere was pretty and fun. What a delightful surprise tonight!

We almost drove away because the outside had tons of caution tape and it looked like no one was there, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Food was prepared quickly - we ordered some sushi and fried rice and lo mein. Everything tasted excellent. Would definitely come here again.
