Shells Seafood - Brandon

I am furious that we didn’t find this place sooner. Shell’s never disappoints. The food is incredible. Everything is always super fresh and legitimately delicious. The oysters are huge every time, the cod sandwich is ridiculously crunchy and flakey, the shrimp mezzo mezzo is awesome and the clam chowder is full of fresh chunks of clam. Sometimes there are basket deals with the broken crab legs and those are a steal. The staff is nice, too. The fried shrimp is so good too I could literally go on for days just come eat here.

Wow. We have been 3 times now because we love it so much. The food is delicious, the service is top tier, and the drinks are wonderful! Fantastic all the way around!

We had a great dinner at Shells. The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and briny, and the shrimp pasta was full of flavor, with tender shrimp in a perfectly seasoned sauce. Delicious food and excellent service - definitely worth a visit!

As we walked in, it took the hostess about 15 minutes to greet us. Keep in mind it's a Sunday afternoon at 2 and the restaurant was not busy. After being seated it took the waitress Nina another 10 minutes before she took our drink order. 20 minutes another person who was not our waitress brought our drinks, and at that time I tried to order an appetizer and was told our waitress would be with us shortly. After waiting another 15 minutes the waitress finally came back and told us to hang on again because she didn't have the tablet to take our order. At this point I was just curious if the service could get any worse. Well it did. Once the waitress took our order she informed me that I couldn't substitute the rice and beans for anything, and I'd have to order an additional side. Waiting another 45 minutes before we got our food. Food was great when we finally got it and I would suggest this place if the service was better. I can't say that I had a good experience here. The service from ninia is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. The rest of the staff that did finally help my table was great. Lee was excellent.

Service was wonderful. Ari was very impressive and cheerful. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. She was prompt on refilling our beverages and made sure we had everything we needed for our meal. I recommend a bowl of the delicious clam chowder. Shells has MORE clams than any other recipe. The kids love the shrimp pasta. Our youngest loves the “shark attack” it’s a sprite with a shark toy which contains grenadine “cherry” syrup. She loved pouring the “shark blood” into the sprite. It’s the small things that make lasting memories. My favorite dish is Salmon Felix. It has a lobster sauce with lump crab meat on top of the Salmon. I always get a side of their delicious Parsley potatoes. Shells has been around for 40 years and I love supporting small businesses such as Shells Seafood.
