Shanghai Bistro 上海小馆

Ordered steamed pork soup dumplings, pan fried spicy soup dumplings, hot & soup soup and Shanghai noodles. They were all very delicious and yummy. Service wise, they followed the order instructions and also provided dipping sauces. My only complaint is that the hot and soup lack of ingredients.

I ordered uber eats for the first time and it tasted really good. Although my 回锅肉 didn’t have any pork belly, which is a bit unusual. I also went in a few days later. Also pretty good. The 小笼包 isn’t the prettiest, but tasted great.

We stopped by this place to pick up dinner after crossing the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit. It can be very busy over the weekend, so you may want to avoid peak hours. Their menu features a good combination of traditional Chinese cuisine, and Westernized Chinese dishes, like General Tso chicken. Dim Sum is also featured in the menu as well. However, you may want to be aware that some dishes' flavor has been localized to fit the local taste. When we ordered the Pork with Garlic Sauce, we couldn't help but notice the strong augmentation of maple syrup added to the dish. Although it gave an unique flavor, it was something that we didn't expect. Otherwise, all other dishes and dim sums were done very tastefully.

It’s my first coming to Windsor. My family wanted to eat Chinese food and found this place. It’s my mom’s and aunt’s birthday. We ordered steamed dumpling soup, wintermelon egg drop soup with scallop, chinese broccoli with garlic, and another items. All were so good and my family loved what they ordered. The service here is friendly and fast.

Cantonese chow mein and the original soup dumplings are so good! Definitely ask for their chili oil it tastes so good with the food. Did not like the spicy beef soup dumplings. Flavour was interesting really gingery and something else that I cannot explain. Overall good experience.
