Shang Artisan Noodle - Durango Resort

All I can say is WOW!!! It’s a great experience to try the hands pull noodles from Shang Artisan Noodles at Durango Resort Casino. These noodles soups come with full of flavors, with broth that you can taste that been stewed overnight and plenty of variety of proteins depending on your preference. The restaurant’s atmosphere is well decorated with different Chinese folks music instruments on the wall, and hands pulled noodles shaped lanterns on the ceiling. It is very clean and well maintained professionally. The service is impeccable from the hostess to the service staffs. They all come with a smile and a «Thank You ». We were very happy to dine here and have a great experience. Come and try it out for yourself. I know you will not regret it.

I've had different soups with their hand pulled noodles and usually ask for the spice on the side. No problem, always accommodating. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the place is always clean. Their portions are huge and very reasonably priced. I love their cucumber infused filtered water. You can also watch them make the noodles by hand, amazing.

Located at the food hall (Eat your heart out) at the Durango casino. You can eat in their dining area or take out and eat in the common area of the food hall. I've eaten at the other location so was excited to eat it again. Got the Shang beef noodle (hand knife shaved noodles) with extra bok choy and the spicy wontons. You can choose hand pulled noodles if you like and then choose your mild or spicy. Note spicy is spicy though so beware. Everything was so delicious. Broth had tons of flavor, beef was very tender and the noodles were perfect. You can even watch them make the noodles fresh through the glass in the kitchen. My only complaint is the prices are much higher at this location than the original location. I understand it’s in a casino but just mentioning it if you prefer to save some money and just eat at the other one. The food is so delicious though. The portion size is pretty large so we shared the soup between 2 of us and just requested extra bowls. We got our food super quick and the service was attentive and friendly. Food hall area was modern and very clean.

Located inside Durango Food Hall. Fresh made Chinese traditional style noodles. Bright atmosphere. Wonderful service. Texture of the knife cut noodles are my favorite. Homemade chili sauce does have a little kick to it but a bit too sweet for me. Cucumber with sesame sauce was very refreshing and tasty. Price is on the high side for noodles. Overall experience was 👍🏼, definitely recommended by @WineDinenVacay

We missed Chinese food, real dumplings & hand-cut Dan Dan Noodles kind of Chinese food, so when we saw Shang & the artisan behind the display window doing her thing, we had to try it for dinner. Luckily, we arrived before the dinner rush, around 5-6 p.m., & only had to wait 15 minutes for some amazing fare. I thought the cucumber salad & spicy wontons would be more like Din Tai Fung's. No, they were very different, but still addictive. Cucumbers were cut lengthwise & doused in sesame nut sauce, not too sweet, not spicy. Spicy wontons were on the vinegary, sweet side, but not sickly sweet. My spicy Dan Dan hand-pulled noodles arrived in a huge bowl, dotted with minced pork, scallions, preserved veg, & light spicy soy sauce. Very hearty, bouncy noodles. My husband's Shang Noodle (thicker, hand-cut) in broth with long-simmered brisket, a generous amount, sang with comfort & joy. Servers & hostesses made every effort to seat diners quickly & accommodate their every need with gentle consideration. The open room isn't large, but they make the most of the space they have.
