Seven Grams is a delightful hidden gem offering authentic Chinese cuisine. Their signature xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are a standout and bring back memories of the flavors I’ve experienced in China. The delicate wrappers hold a perfect balance of juicy broth and tender filling, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and skill. Another highlight of their menu is the Golden Soup Beef Noodles, which I find myself ordering every visit. The broth is rich and aromatic, complemented by fresh noodles and tender slices of beef. It’s comfort food at its finest, and the portion size is just right to satisfy. The chili wontons are another favorite, offering a great combination of heat, tanginess, and a touch of nuttiness from the crushed peanuts. Each bite is packed with flavor, making it hard to resist. Seven Grams has created a cozy and modern dining space, perfect for savoring a meal with friends or simply enjoying a quiet lunch. If you’re craving authentic xiao long bao or hearty noodle soups, this place won’t disappoint. It’s a spot I’ll keep returning to for the familiar, comforting flavors.
Cucumber salad and spicy dumplings are divine. The salad has a refreshing taste and the dumplings were so flavorful with the chili sauce.
Beef rolls are refreshing with green onions , cucumber, mint, and fine cut-up lettuce. Wontons in chili sauce with green scallions and noodles with green and caramelized onions in a sauce were beautiful. All the dumplings were amazing. My daughter had the Beef Noodle Soup. It was great! Cold noodles with a chili oil sauce were eaten by my other daughter, and she loved it! We finished it off with tarot dumplings for dessert, but the ultimate kicker was the custard buns. They are so so DELICIOUS!!!! Customer service was top notch, and your food was served within 10 to 15 minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
I dine at Seven Grams at least once a week—it’s that good! The menu is packed with delicious options, but my absolute favorites are the 7 Grams Xiao Long Bao and Spicy Wontons. The xiao long bao are perfectly crafted, with delicate wrappers and flavorful broth, while the spicy wontons are pure comfort in every bite. The Scallion Noodles and Beef Roll are also solid choices and great additions to any meal. It’s such a relief to have a spot like this nearby; I no longer have to drive out to South Coast Plaza or Arcadia for my Din Tai Fung cravings. Seven Grams delivers the same incredible flavors without the hassle of a long trip. If you’re a fan of dumplings or crave authentic flavors, Seven Grams is a must-visit.
I'm not a huge fan of noodle places, so going off of how my wife rated this place, she really liked the food. I had more of juat appetizers. Spring rolls, chili wontons, potato wrapped shrimp were all good. The popsicle shrimp tasted good, but when I bit into it, I saw the veins and that just grosses me out lol, i dod not finish them. But if you can visually get passed that and it don't bother you, it tastes good. The wife got a noodle beef soup thing, the broth i liked but wasn't a fan of the beef. But my wife says it was good (again, she likes this stuff) Prices are not too crazy, but like everything in good ol' California cost of meals these days are up there. So not too crazy refers to I've paid more at other places. Service was good, and we got this cool magnet for spending over $80 with a promo they doing now.
