About Sea N Suds

Sea N Suds, located at 405 E Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores, AL 36542, USA, is not a Chinese Restaurant. It is a popular seafood restaurant with a casual, beachfront atmosphere. You can contact them at (251) 948-7894 or +1 251-948-7894.

Based on customer reviews, Sea N Suds offers a nice dining experience with the option of outside seating. The waitstaff is described as attentive. They also have a selection of beverages, including Heineken and local IPA.

A highlight of the menu appears to be the Royal Reds, which one reviewer found to be good despite a personal aversion to their appearance, noting that the seasoning was not overwhelming. The restaurant is characterized as super casual, with some patrons even dining in swimwear straight from the beach.

Another highly praised dish is the gumbo, which one customer declared "the best." The restaurant also offers a variety of seafood, including raw oysters, crab claws, and Crab & Cheese bites, as well as an Appetizer Sampler, all of which were reported to be awesome by a group visiting during the Oyster Festival.

The location of Sea N Suds is behind the Boardwalk hotel and might not be immediately visible from the main road. Additionally, parking is located across the street, which is useful information for first-time visitors. Signage for the parking is mentioned as being among moving traffic.

Overall, Sea N Suds is recommended, particularly for those who enjoy seafood like Royal Reds and oysters, due to its impressive quality and reasonable prices. Its casual beachfront setting and attentive service make it a popular choice in Gulf Shores.

Outside seating was a nice option. Waitress was attentive. They had Heineken available and local IPA. The Royal Reds were actually good despite having eyes still attached (it’s a me thing, sorry). The seasoning was not overwhelming. It was a super casual restaurant. A few had swim suits on right from the beach. The restaurant itself is behind Boardwalk hotel and not easily spotted from a busy road. Additionally, the parking is across the street which would have also been handy to know ahead of time. I turned into two wrong parking lots before seeing the sign for the Sea n’ Suds parking amongst the moving traffic. Mostly the Royal Reds were impressive and the price was very reasonable so if you like that sort of seafood I recommend a visit.

Had a party of 4 in town for the Oyster Festival. Came to SnS by recommendation of some good friends. They were very crowded - but didn’t disappoint. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 2 dz raw oysters, Appetizer Sampler, 2 lbs of crab claws, Crab & Cheese bites and some Gumbo. Everything was awesome - but gumbo was the best. 💪🙌

Delicious shrimp and great beach views! We've been happy repeat customers for years! :-) Edit (10/26/24)- came in for lunch on Saturday and tried their lobster bisque and dozen fried shrimp dinner. Everything was delicious and Joshua did a great job! 👍 Came back on 10/31/24 for more fried shrimp and tried their fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which was very good!

I 100% recommend Sea N Suds!!! The service was great, our server Joshua was Fantastic, the atmosphere was steller, especially since it was right on the beach, and the food was delicious! The gumbo, shrimp, and crab and cheese bites were my favorite!!! One of my new favorite places in gulf shores!

I've added a couple of photographs to help you navigate from the parking lot across the street to the restaurant that sits actually on the beach. Appetizers we ordered the half a dozen raw oysters and it's almost peak season for these lovely bites. They were nice and salty, you can taste the ocean and they were just delicious by themselves. I ordered the fried seafood platter, and my wife had the all you can eat Mullet. Now for those of you who have never tried mullet, it is a flakey White fish basically used by the fisherman as bait fish. It is a very mild and delicious fish. Definitely worth eating. It is some of the best fried fish that I believe that I've ever tasted. The fried seafood platter consists of, fried oysters, fried grouper, fried Gulf shrimp, a fried stuffed crab cake in a shell, french fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and a bowl of gumbo. The fried stuffed crab would be the only reason that I didn't give a five star, it was just a little too much breading and not enough crab but the taste was definitely there. My wife was in heaven with the mullet. The service was excellent, and although they were short staffed, our server never let us run out of drinks and always checked on us. It was a very family-oriented restaurant with delicious food, I would definitely recommend this place. There is no parking for the restaurant on site, however, you have options across the street.
