Sazones Fresh Latín Cuisine

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sazone’s again, a charming Puerto Rican halal restaurant, and as usual, I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor. The Mofongos were a standout — rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. The Birria tacos were another highlight, offering a deliciously satisfying depth of flavor that we all adored. My children, who are often picky eaters, were delighted with the chicken quesadillas, while my tween daughter couldn't get enough of the Birria Ramen — a unique and delicious fusion that she absolutely loved. I also enjoyed my flautas dinner, which initially felt a little dry but became much more enjoyable once I added the accompanying sauces. The service was warm and attentive, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our meal. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the lovely green backdrop for photos, which added a charming aesthetic to the restaurant. For dessert, we opted for the cupcakes, which were reasonably priced when purchased in bulk. While they were enjoyable, they didn’t quite stand out as extraordinary. That said, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting their tres leches cake as a hostess gift, and it was absolutely divine — definitely worth trying on your next visit. Overall, Sazones delivers an exceptional dining experience with flavorful dishes, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere. I’m thrilled that my children found something they loved, and I’ll certainly be returning to explore more of the menu in the future.

10 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review We went with my hubby a few weeks ago and talked about the Great Flavor, We haven't eaten a Jibarito even better than Humboldt Park. That juicy taste that stays in your mouth even after you leave the restaurant is recommended. Service was Great and the location is very cozy and full of desserts. By the way I ate some yummy Pistachio Tres Leches and My hubby a Red Velvet cake & still took a Coquito Cup Cake home. We definitely will be back very soon! 5 Stars is all we could give but it deserves 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Their attention to detail was impeccable, and the buffet was a huge hit. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety and quality of the food, and the desserts were simply irresistible – people kept going back for more! The team was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was flawless from start to finish. I have been wanting to try an authentic jibarito for years now, and Sazones did not disappoint! I tried both the steak and the chicken, and both were absolutely delicious, tender, and flavorful. I tried a birria taco as well, which was also fantastic. The space is adorable and photo-op ready, and it would be perfect for a shower or girls outing of any kind. I will definitely be back for my jibarito fix!

I had to come on here and share my experience after eating Sazones. First off, the cheesecake is so light and won't make you feel super full like the thick cheesecakes from the store. The food is SO SURPRISING. I thought it was just going to be another orange burnt rice situation as it so often is but no. Their rice is served plain white as a side, but the beans are what blew my mind. The beans are SO flavorful. This is the first time I've ever had beans like these. They're not the soggy refried beans. They're flavorful amazing pinto beans with seasonings and other ingredients. I could eat them alone by the spoon. I would personally put way more lime and salt in the guacamole but that's just me. This will be my regular place now.
