About Sang Kee Noodle Cafe

Sang Kee Noodle Cafe is a Chinese restaurant located at 1601 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08034, USA, specializing in noodle dishes. They can be contacted at (856) 310-2388 or +1 856-310-2388.

One customer "Didn't really like the food in general." They found "the crispy noodle itself is good, but there is too much sauce and it's too salty," noting that the "satay sauce...doesn't taste like what you would expect for satay sauce." They also mentioned "Lots of rice in the duck over rice" and described the "duck is meh," feeling it was "not seasoned well enough." They considered "The wonton in chili oil is probably the best dish, but I wish the chili oil has more flavor."

Another customer on their first visit ordered the "scallion pancakes and Chicken with String Beans which was supposed to be spicy." They found the chicken dish "was not spicy, in fact it was a little bland" and expressed disappointment in the "lack of flavor." However, they praised the "scallion pancakes…the best that I have ever had."

Regarding service, one reviewer found it "good, a little slow." They appreciated that their "Diet Coke...had a lot of flavor and was nice and cold," contrasting it with other places selling warm canned drinks.

A significant concern was raised about accessibility: "I depend on a walker to get around and the tables were crammed into the space. It was so tight that I could not get my walker through to go to the bathroom." While the staff helped with the walker during lunch, the customer had difficulty retrieving it later.

Despite the mixed food reviews and accessibility issue, one customer stated, "I will definitely return here, you can tell the food is high quality and I’m looking forward to trying other things."

Based on these reviews, Sang Kee Noodle Cafe in Cherry Hill Township, NJ, offers a varied experience. The crispy noodles are considered good, but the accompanying satay sauce is criticized for being too much and too salty, and not tasting like expected satay. The duck over rice is also not well-received, with too much rice and mediocre, under-seasoned duck. The wonton in chili oil is a potential highlight, though the chili oil could be more flavorful. The scallion pancakes are exceptionally praised by one customer, while the supposedly spicy chicken with string beans was bland. The service is generally good but can be a little slow, and they serve cold canned drinks. A major drawback is the cramped seating arrangement, making it difficult for customers using walkers to navigate. Despite these issues, at least one customer believes the food is high quality and intends to return. Local users should consider the mixed food reviews and potential accessibility challenges when deciding whether to visit Sang Kee Noodle Cafe.

The environment is described as having tables crammed into the space, posing an accessibility issue for walker users. Services include dine-in with generally good but sometimes slow service. Key features include potentially good crispy noodles (with problematic sauce), praised scallion pancakes, and cold canned drinks. Drawbacks include overly salty and non-traditional satay sauce, mediocre and under-seasoned duck over rice, bland spicy chicken with string beans, and a cramped environment difficult for those with mobility aids. It's supposed to be satay sauce but doesn't taste like what you would expect for satay sauce. Lots of rice in the duck over rice. The duck is meh, I have had better. Feel like it is not seasoned well enough. The wonton in chili oil is probably the best dish, but I wish the chili oil has more flavor.

This was my first visit here. I ordered the scallion pancakes and Chicken with String Beans which was supposed to be spicy. It was not spicy, in fact it was a little bland. I was a little disappointed in the lack of flavor. The scallion pancakes…the best that I have ever had. The service was good, a little slow. I asked for Diet Coke to drink and it had a lot of flavor and was nice and cold. Many places that sell cans sell them warm…not here. One other area to mention is that I depend on a walker to get around and the tables were crammed into the space. It was so tight that I could not get my walker through to go to the bathroom. They were nice enough to help me put my walker aside during lunch but I couldn’t get it out of the space they shoved it in. I will definitely return here, you can tell the food is high quality and I’m looking forward to trying other things.

Sang Kee is popular for their duck and we also had the salt and pepper fried pork chop along with their traditional beef dishes. The spicy shrimp with beef is recommended. Good service.
