About Sam's Sushi

Welcome to Sam's Sushi, located at 7210 US Hwy 19 N in Pinellas Park, Florida. While the platform category might list it as a Chinese restaurant, Sam's Sushi offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including sushi, salads, noodles, and ramen.

According to customer reviews, there are varying opinions on the quality and value offered at Sam's Sushi. One customer highlighted several positive aspects of specific dishes. Lo's salad was described as uniquely done and delicious. The spider roll was noted as a personal favorite, featuring a crunchy interior complemented by eel sauce. The pad see ew was mentioned as a great option for children due to its thick noodles and sweet sauce. However, this reviewer found the tonkotsu ramen to be lackluster and lacking a proper "ramen egg."

In contrast, another customer expressed significant dissatisfaction, stating that the restaurant has become a "horrible value" due to increased prices and reduced portion sizes. This reviewer also pointed out inaccuracies regarding the restaurant's hours and pricing information on their website, suggesting false advertising. Specific examples of poor value included a fried roll with minimal batter for $13.95, tuna tataki with a small amount of fish and excessive carrots for $15.95, and five small crab rangoon with very little filling for $8.95. The reviewer also noted the use of seaweed to conceal the small portion of fish in the tataki and concluded that better value and taste can be found elsewhere.

Based on this information, Sam's Sushi offers a menu of Japanese dishes with some items receiving positive feedback for their unique preparation and taste. However, there are also significant concerns raised by customers regarding the value for money, portion sizes, and the accuracy of online information. Local users should consider these mixed reviews when deciding whether to dine at or order from Sam's Sushi. No specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

Lo's salad was uniquely done and delicious. The spider roll is a personal favorite and doesn't disappoint with its crunchy interior and eel sauce that brings it all together. Their pad see ew is a great option for kids with its thick noodles and sweet sauce. However, their tonkotsu ramen was lackluster and didn't have a proper "ramen egg".

This restaurant has become a horrible value since they raised prices and cut down on portions: And both its hours and pricing on their website are incorrect so they also false advertise. The fried roll had almost no batter $13.95 for small piece of salmon and cream cheese, 15.95 for pretty much shaved tuna Tataki with more carrot than fish, 8.95 for 5 purse size crab Rangoon with less than a tablespoon of filling. The tataki had a bunch of seaweed in the middle to hide the small portion of fish. Portions and taste are better values elsewhere.

We came in for dinner and the staffs were really nice and smiley. The prices caught us off guard, but the food was really good. I order 1 handroll last minute before they closed and the chef gave us an extra one for my boyfriend. Overall, it was a pretty nice experience. Recommended for sure!

Food was great. Best Rangoon I've had here. There was actually crab & cream cheese in the center! Outside of the place was pretty messy, with a table & chair laying around with some garbage that should be picked up. But the food was still really good and it was pretty busy. Only thing is, at the end of the meal, we wanted to try the creme Brule, and told the waitress this. We then received the check after a few minutes and never heard back about the creme Brule. So that was disappointing. But I would say you need to try this place.
