About Salsas Cocina Melbourne

Salsas Cocina Melbourne, while originally a part of a local chain in the USA, presents an interesting option for local users in US through this Chinese Restaurant platform. Although the cuisine is primarily Mexican, its inclusion here suggests an opportunity to explore flavors beyond traditional Chinese fare.

Based on customer reviews, the restaurant in its original location is described as a "cute place" with reasonable pricing. However, one review noted that service could be slower than expected. Feedback on the food appears mixed. While basic options like the beef burrito and taco were reported as tasty, the chicken in the quesadilla was described as dry with insufficient cheese. This suggests potential variability in the quality of different dishes.

On a more positive note, another reviewer highlighted the well-maintained and relatively new feel of the restaurant space, despite being a few years old. This indicates attention to the environment and upkeep of their physical locations. The same reviewer also had a particularly favorable experience with specific dishes, namely the Chicken Mole and the Ceviche. The Chicken Mole was lauded for its tender and succulent chicken and the complex, flavorful sauce. The Ceviche was praised for its freshness and artful presentation.

The service experience seems to vary, with one reviewer encountering a disappearing waiter but receiving excellent service from another staff member who took over. This highlights the importance of attentive and professional service for customer satisfaction.

In summary, while Salsas Cocina Melbourne offers Mexican cuisine rather than Chinese, its presence on this platform in US introduces local users to a different culinary experience. Reviews from its original location suggest a mixed experience, with some dishes being highly praised for their flavor and freshness, while others may fall short. The environment is generally considered pleasant, but service experiences might vary. As no specific promotional information is available from the provided reviews, local users in US may want to consider these varied opinions when deciding to explore the Mexican offerings of Salsas Cocina Melbourne through this platform.

This a cute place and priced well. Service took a little longer than expected, but was nice. Chicken was dry and don’t recommend the quesadilla for that reason. Too much dry chicken with very little cheese. The basic burrito and taco with beef were tasty.

Salsas Cocina 5559 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940 5 Star (Chain restaurant review) This is a local chain with 12 locations throughout the Sunshine State. I like the use of this space. It is maximized for use but still looks new, even though the restaurant is a few years old. Francisco is our waiter, but he disappeared. Thankfully, Giselle took over and she is a pro. I asked Giselle for one order of Mexican Mole (Chicken) and an order of their Ceviche (against my editor's better judgment). Like eating Oysters in a buffet, he learned a long time ago never to order it. When the dish consists of seafood and citrus, beware, as the citrus is often used to mask overly ripe proteins of the seven seas. About 15 minutes after Giselle placed my order, Francisco reappeared. Strangely, Giselle told me the tips were not pooled and refused a tip. One of my new favorite Mexican dishes is Chicken Mole. This dish was outstanding. The chicken was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection. The Mole was firm, supple, and undulated across my tongue like many Colubrids. The complexity of the sauce is to be admired. Moving on, it was time to sample their Ceviche. Looking at the pictures, one can see how fresh it appeared. Trust me. It was. The chef's presentation of the avocado on top was so artful and ithyphallic that it became the talk of the table, adding a touch of humor and sophistication to the meal. The seafood was exceedingly fresh and melted on the palate. In a word: Delicioso! Take that, Mr. Editor-In-Chief! Unbelievably, Francisco returned and asked if I was ready for the check (I had already taken care of it with Giselle). The Big Boy says, “Mexican food is like Francisco and Giselle. It is hit or miss. This was definitely a hit (despite my short interactions with Senor Perderse).”

The food was tasty, albeit a little overpriced, the margaritas were great, but the experience was disappointing. We stopped in for dinner and ended up talking with a nice gentleman named Daniel at the bar. He ordered one appetizer, a margarita and a meal to go. He also ordered me a margarita and my husband a beer. When he paid his tab, he specifically told Rueben that he wanted to pay for our meals. We told him he didn’t have to do that, but he insisted. He handed Rueben $200 and asked to be sure that was enough. Rueben said that was plenty and thanked him. Daniel wished us a Happy New Year and left. We were ready to leave soon after and thought we would ask to be sure the bill was taken care of(and to give them an additional $40 because we wanted to tip them ourselves). Rueben said that Daniel had only paid for himself and not our bill. We disagreed, but he wasn’t budging. He said Daniel comes in often and always tips $15 or more. The couple next to us noticed what happened and agreed that Daniel had definitely said he was paying for our meals. In other words, Rueben took $200 from someone trying to be nice and pocketed around $100 for himself. We paid our $75 bill with no tip. This was New Year’s Eve. Thank you Daniel for your generosity. Rueben, you should be ashamed of yourself. First time, last time.

We had the Tex-Mex tacos, rice and refried beans, super burrito loco. The food was pretty good but we have had better at other restaurants. They had a great atmosphere. We recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
