They praise the beautifully presented dishes, generous portion sizes, and reasonable prices. Dishes like the avocado roll and tofu entree have received positive feedback, and the Asahi beer is noted as a well-rounded lager.

However, other customers have reported a negative experience. This reviewer recommended Ko Fusion as a better alternative for sushi.

Overall, Sakura Japanese Cuisine has received contrasting reviews. While some customers appreciate the atmosphere, service, and food presentation, others have expressed dissatisfaction with the food quality and perceived lack of hospitality. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a cozy, warm atmosphere with soft lighting and tasteful decor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Food: The food was good. I ordered avocado roll, and tofu entree. Each dish was beautifully presented, with rich flavors. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. Drinks: I tired the Asahi beer and was a well round lager. Service: The service was good with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and able to make excellent recommendations. Overall: Overall, Sakura exceeded my expectations. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or just a place to enjoy a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I came in to have a meal by myself and was immediately stared down by staff like I was from another planet 🙄. Not a good start, but the food made the experience worse. Crab was pathetic and oily, the fish I ordered was bland as ever, almost as if it was taken from a local creek and cooked with no seasoning's. The sushi had to have been sitting in a fridge for most of the day because it had both mushy and hard rice pieces. I’d say I was surprised but based on the lack of hospitality and obvious prejudice, low quality is to be expected. Treat yourself and head over to Ko Fusion for some quality sushi, it’s worth the money you will inevitably lose here.

Delicious! Everything we had was great, especially the sushi. The rice was soft and well seasoned and the fish was super fresh. The shrimp shumai was also delicious and I can’t wait to come back and try the noodles and bento boxes among other things! My only complaint was that my scallops were definitely over cooked, but it still won’t stop me from coming back to get other dishes!

We went for lunch after the Christmas weekend. We ordered agadasi tofu from the appetizer menu, i believe; which is deep-fried tofu in a umami sauce, and i absolutely loved it. It was so flavourful. It was my first time tasting deep-fried tofu, so i had my doubts. But it's 100% recommended to try, i know I'm gonna have it again. Then, for main course, we had salmon teriyaki bento box and tempura udon. Both were delicious. Salmon bento box was nicely arranged and proportion wise very good size. I had to share with my husband as i couldn't finish everything. Tempura udon was also good size. It came with shrimp and veggie (squash and zucchini- we think) tempura. Udon was flavorful and tasty. Food was hot and service was very nice. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. Nice ambiance. We'll go back for sure.
