Customer Feedback

Read what our customers have to say about their experiences at Sakura:

  • "Was passing through heading to Princeton NJ and spotted this restaurant on the way. Food was great and everyone was friendly with smiles. Of course another place where I could not stop myself from eating and I lived every minute. Please come by and enjoy their foods. Super yummy."
  • "At first when you walked in, it seems to be a good place, lots of food options from cold to hot to desserts. However, closer look and taste, it was disappointing. Foods, especially seafood, wasn’t fresh. I took a bit of the steamed fish and it tasted not fresh. I didn’t dare to try the sushi as they seemed to have sat there for hours. The only items that were ok are string beans and duck. Price is decent if the food is good. I went in weekday dinner time."

While some guests have praised Sakura for its ambiance and friendly service, others have expressed concerns about the freshness of certain dishes. For those who value authentic ingredients and expertly prepared sushi, these reviews serve as a reminder to check the quality firsthand when visiting.

Overall, Sakura remains a popular choice for those seeking a taste of Japan in New Jersey. With its inviting atmosphere and diverse menu, it's worth considering for your next dining outing.

I'm not a seafood lover, but it happened to be that on Valentines Day, it was also Ash Wednesday, and I don't eat meat once Easter starts. 40 days. Let me tell you everything I tried was delicious 😋. It is in a strip mall on Route 1, and the restaurant is very pretty. Super Clean and the staff was friendly. I swore I had more pics of the food and restaurant. If i find them, I will post. Definitely a must try!!!!!

If you're in the mood for a casual all-you-can-eat dining experience with a decent selection of Chinese food, Sakura is worth a visit. The restaurant is also clean and well-maintained, with tables regularly cleared and dishes restocked. One downside is that some of the dishes tend to be overly greasy or salty. The desserts section is also limited, with a few basic options like fresh fruit and cake.
