Saki

The crab puffs appitizer was overcooked and had almost no puff at all. Could not taste anything but dry wonton when you took a bite. The spicy beef fried rice was a very big portion and lots of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken and vegetable tempura were deep-fried to perfection and not over battered so you could taste more than batter. The soups were hot and tasty and the salads had lots of dressing on them.

It was lunch time. Not too terribly busy. I continuously had to repeat something missing. You won't hurt my feelings if you must write it down. I'd have to. Food was very good. It was a special treat for me that day because we don't live close to it now. There have been much better days. It still remains my favorite Japanese Restaurant in South MS.

We went to Sakis in Ocean Springs tonight and had a disappointing experience. My family and I each prefer certain vegetables in our hibachi, so we asked for modifications. I only wanted onions, my daughter wanted only broccoli, and my husband asked for mushrooms, broccoli, and onions. When we received the bill, we were shocked to see they charged us extra – $1 each – for removing vegetables we didn’t want! I’ve never encountered a restaurant that penalizes customers for not wanting certain items on their plates. You’d think removing ingredients would reduce the cost, not increase it! This felt incredibly greedy and unnecessary. We won’t be returning to Sakis.

Very good! Loved the food service and atmosphere! And the hibachi grill tables are the coolest 😎!!! Veggie Spring rolls are super delicious 😋

Went here for our anniversary and the rice was so hard and crunchy. I mean literally every bite was unbearably crunchy. We talked to them about it and they said they wouldn't remake it for us. They didn't make us pay for it but I would have been happy to, I didn't want a refund, I just wanted the rice remade so I could enjoy my meal i had already waited an hour on. Not to mention the hibachi chef literally stuck his fingers in my kids cup of goldfish after dealing with raw meat and cleaning off the grill. Lady at the front was rude acting like I was just trying to get a free meal even though we left our ENTIRE plates behind. Definitely won't be back which is disappointing cause we have always loved eating here.
