About Saigon Seafood

Saigon Seafood is a Vietnamese restaurant located at 270 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122, USA. You can contact them at (617) 265-1008 or +1 617-265-1008.

While categorized on the platform as a Chinese restaurant, Saigon Seafood is identified by customer reviews as a Vietnamese restaurant specializing in seafood. Customers have consistently praised the delicious food, noting that it is not overly salty or sweet and is cooked fresh. One reviewer specifically highlighted the outstanding service provided by the waiter.

The restaurant appears to be quite popular, especially on late Friday nights, and it stays open later than many other establishments in the area. The dining experience is generally positive, with customers enjoying the quality of the dishes. However, parking can be challenging due to the busy road and narrow streets, with a suggestion to park on a side street about a block away.

A standout dish mentioned is the "clay pot with catfish and pork," which is described as complementing the "sweet and sour catfish soup." Customers are advised that the fish in this dish contains small bones, which is considered normal. The caramelized sauce in the clay pot is noted for its good flavor and generous amount of meat, and the sweet and sour soup is recommended to be poured over rice.

Another highly recommended dish is the "shrimp with walnut," featuring a "really nice mayo sauce." Saigon Seafood is also recognized as a place that prepares an excellent version of lobster, cut in a way that makes it easy to extract the meat.

Based on the available reviews, Saigon Seafood offers a great dining experience with fresh and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine, particularly seafood dishes. It is a popular spot open late, though parking might require a short walk. There is no specific promotional information available online.

I had a great experience here. Delicious food, not too salty or too sweet. The food I ordered was cooked fresh and right. The waiter did an outstanding job taking care of us and the customers around us.

The restaurant was pretty popular on a late Friday night, they are open pretty late for the area. Parking can be tough with the road busy and the narrow road, it's best to park on the side street a block away. Service was average. The clay pot with catfish and pork really complements the sweet and sour catfish soup. Please be aware the fish have small bones inside, it's normal. The caramelized sauce in the clay pot has really good flavor, it comes with a good amount of meat. The sweet and sour soup was delicious too and was nice to pour over rice. The shrimp with walnut is one of my favorites and has a really nice mayo sauce. This is probably one of the better places that makes this style of lobster. The restaurant cuts the lobster in an easy way to pull out the meat.

Loved the ginger twin scallion lobster! So good, great lobster and the house fried rice was also so good. Usually go to Victoria's, but was looking for something closer to home and stumbled upon this restaurant and was so happy I did. Service was great, tale out came with everything I needed and the staff was very kind. Can't wait to try a dine in experience!

I had ordered a small tray pork, shrimp and jelly fish salad for $70. And They gave me wrong order “squid, jelly fish and shrimp” with extra protein is “dead fly” in it. Be aware before you eat. Wouldn’t come back or recommended to anyone.

No frills excellent Vietnamese and Canto style cookery with a focus on seafood. Crab, shrimp, mussels, lobster... Finished in a wok with ginger scallion... Or chili salt and pepper stir fried... I haven't had anything there that wasn't delicious. Their catfish hot and sour soup is also fantastic. And their salt and pepper fried chicken wings. 🤤
