Saigon Cafe

Food - A1 Cha Gio (shrimp and pork spring roll) The spring roll was fresh tasting. Medium pho (rare eye round steak + fatty brisket) plus extra rare eye. I would say that this is my favorite pho on this side of Atlanta. They have me plenty of cilantro and basil leaves, which is one of my complaints for other Vietnamese restaurants. I couldn't finish this, but it was so good. Milk Tea with brown sugar tapioca. The tea seemed to be watered down and didn't taste that great. Tapioca, though, was good.

My wife ordered Bún Thịt Nướng, but the noodles were cold and hard, which was really disappointing. I had Hủ Tiếu, and it wasn’t good at all—definitely not what I expected. The service was poor too; everyone seemed so busy that we were completely ignored. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Super disappointed, and we won’t be coming back

Well, I'm not sure where to start. I'm Vietnamese so I tried my best to leave a non-biased review here. But the food wasn't good, just subpar. My wife ordered a small pho soup with rare eye round steak P2. We asked to mince the meat a bit but what we got was a bunch of tiny pieces of meat. You can see the attached photo and understand. For me, I used to work for a pho place so I knew this place would have good reviews from local non-Asian folks. I ordered Chicken and Grilled Shrimp Noodles B2. The meat was ok but the noodles were cold like it was taken out from the fridge. At least warming up the noodles could save it but overall, we felt this was one of the worst experiences we ever had with Pho noodles for awhile. Definitely won't go back.

This used to be or safe pho spot, in the last couple of months food took a big dive. Broth is not flavorful like it used to be and is a bit salty, and oh man the portions.... the amount of protein in each bowl is a lot less these days and the prices didn't go down.. Service is good thats why the two stars

I used to frequent Saigon Cafe in Duluth, but it seems the business has closed down. Today, I visited Saigon Cafe in Buford for the first time. Since it's Friday during Lent, I opted for the Veggie Lover dish while my daughter ordered Pho. Unfortunately, the Veggie Lover was a bit salty, possibly due to an excess of oyster sauce. The Pho was average, nothing particularly noteworthy. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the atmosphere, food taste, or service.
