Some of the best food I’ve had in years. The food is phenomenal, made fresh to order. I would look no farther if you’re looking to try Indian food or Indo-chinese. The owner was awesome, and gave us some different sauces to try. Best gas station find ever!! Will be returning.

This place is a hidden gem! I got the lentil soup, and it was amazing - he literally made it to order. Fresh ingredients, served hot, and absolutely delicious. I hope they stay open, or even get a bigger place because I am sold and will coming back.

I’ve been eating at Saffron for nearly 10 years ever since they were in the New Tampa area, and they remain my favorite Indian restaurant of all time! Yesterday, I went to their new location in Riverview and I ordered the butter chicken curry with garlic naan, and the chicken was the most tender chicken that I’ve ever had! When I’ve tried chicken currys at other restaurants, I often find myself not eating all of the chicken because it’s so dry or overcooked, but at Saffron Xpress, the first thing I finished eating was the chicken and then the curry! The food is delicious and the curry always has the perfect amount of creaminess, sweetness, and spice. Smells delicious and tastes delicious!! Highly recommend giving this spot a visit! The owner/employees were so kind and the customer service was quite exceptional!

I used to go here at their previous location in New Tampa and in my 51 years of living and it is my all time favorite Indian food. When I found out it was closed I was sad but then by some miracle they open a location 15 mins from me…I cannot explain how that happened but soooo happy 😊😊😊 I implore you to come try this place!!! You will not be sorry!!

Saffron Xpress has great food and great service. The workers are very friendly and even brought our food to us. They were very helpful and very attentive. The butter chicken and the naan were great! I have no complaints. You should definitely give this place a try! Just know that it is inside the gas station, but they do have indoor seating which is nice and clean.
