Saffron Valley - South Jordan

I have ordered and had the Indian Railway Omelette a couple times now which happens to be my favorite breakfast or dinner these days. That omelette tastes great! The ladies that work there are very polite and respectful.

I've been missing Saffron Valley ALL MY LIFE. I'm speechless and my tummy is full of their delicious food. I enjoyed their 10-star buffet (a 5 is TOO low of a rating) and the service was wonderful. The manager asked us how the food tasted and the buffet setup reflected so many colorful curries and entrees. Gopher was a server and he had such a big smile and was personable everytimee he interacted with us. The sauces, the spices, everything was perfect! I've always searched for a high quality Indian restaurant locally and I trusted the other five-star reviewers and I'm glad I did. It was phenomenal.

Asatna and her co-worker Lammi provided me with great service, and had friendly attitudes. English is not thier first language, but their English is superior to my knowledge of any India language. I, ordered a mild dish of Shrimp (Tikka Masala) with bread (Garlic Cheese Naan). Even though I ordered mild, it was too hot for me. To top that off, the Shrimp had part of the shell on the tail, which was covered with the tomato type spicy sauce. I, would have expected that the Shrimp was devained and all of the shell off of the shrimp. What are your thoughts on my review of this eating establishment. I, know that I cannot handle spicy foods. I specifically asked if the sauce was hot. Even on my reciept "Not Spicy Without Cilantro"

Showed up while they were absolutely slammed. A line out the door with about 3-4 people around the back waiting for DoorDash orders. They were out of rice and their ticket printer had some errors. We were sat with food on the table in less than 45 minutes (fair for dinner rush on a Friday) by the time we left the line was gone and all orders were out. The mango lassi, biryani, naan, and butter chicken were delicious!!! The Chai was fresh and fragrant without being too sweet. The wait time was a bit rough but considering it’s a small restaurant with only 2 front staff total, there’s only so many people they can serve at once. Please be considerate when you see staff are trying hard, and check your to go orders before you leave to save everyone time :)

Surprisingly this is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Utah. The food is fantastic. The waitress were polite and patient. They improved on their buffet line. I ate 4 plates full and it tasted great without compromising their quality. Definitely would recommend. As I am a Malaysian, I am farmilar with Indian food. This fixes my need for Indian food.
