Customers have generally praised Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine for its ample parking, clean and pleasant environment, and good service. A standout dish mentioned is the cold spicy chicken, noted for its slightly sweet and salty sauce with a significant spicy kick. While the chicken has a firm texture rather than being very tender, it is considered very good for its price.
Another popular item is the toothpick lamb, which some reviewers find to have a bold, slightly bitter flavor. The lamb pieces are described as crispy but potentially a bit more cooked and slightly drier inside than some might prefer. The dish is noted for its large portion size, making it suitable for sharing. The use of toothpicks in the lamb pieces is also mentioned positively. Many customers express interest in trying other lamb dishes, such as the cumin lamb, on future visits.
Key features of Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine include a no-reservation-needed policy and the serving of items family style, making it a great option for group dining. For those who enjoy spicy food, Ruiji is highly recommended, with customers noting the perfect spice levels that can even lead to a satisfying sinus-clearing experience. The numbing spice level, a signature of Sichuan cuisine, is also appreciated by patrons.
Overall, Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine appears to be a well-regarded Chinese restaurant specializing in authentic and flavorful Sichuan dishes, offering a comfortable dining experience with convenient parking and friendly service. It is particularly recommended for those who appreciate spicy cuisine and enjoy sharing dishes family style.

Plenty of parking, nice and clean, and good service. The cold spicy chicken is very good. The sauce is slightly sweet and salty, and it's got quite a kick for spiciness. The chicken is not tender but also not dry. It's got. Firmness to it. It's very good for its price of $11. The toothpick lamb kind of has a bold, bitter flavor to it that I'm not quite used to. The pieces of lamb are crispy, but it's kind of more cooked than I expected, as it's slightly dry inside instead of juicy. I like the little toothpicks in the pieces. The portion is very large to share. I'm interested in trying the cumin lamb next time.
No reservation needed. Items are served family style. I love spicy food, the spice level of the dishes are perfect! I feel my sinuses clearing after a good meal here. The numbing spice level is great too. I always order the toothpick lamb when I come here. No bad dishes yet.
This is a hidden gem for great Sichuan food. I went with my family, all five of us vegetarian and some on a special keto diet. On a Friday night, we got parking very easily in the complex and we were seated with no wait. The place was very clean and spacious. The round tables are big to accommodate many dishes for a family style dining experience. We tried mapo tofu, braised tofu, veggies dry pot, dan dan noodles and vegetarian stir fried noodles. My niece didn't wanna have anything spicy and she enjoyed the stir fried noodles. The restaurant managed the spiciness of all the dishes according to our order. My husband and brother like the numbing flavor and the restaurant amped up the flavor in mapo tofu and dry pot. It was very satisfying food for them. I am a big fan of dry dan dan noodles. What I got over here was good. I like my noodles quite dry, over here they were a bit liquid. Still a good place to go if I get craving for Dan Dan. They had very good customer service and the food arrived within 10 minutes of our order. This is going to be my go-to place for Sichuan cravings.
One of the most amazing Sichuan dining ever! Would make the drive from Long Beach just to eat here. Sometimes take out, better for dine-in. Very many authentic dishes and if yo like it spicy then it is worth your time. Quality and flavor is consistent and despite the prices have increased, it is always on our list. Hope to visit again soon.
I love Ruiji Sichuan Chinese restaurant, their menu has quite the variety and many delicious foods even if you don't like spice which I think is their main personality. I always get their Sichuan popcorn chicken that leaves a numbing feeling after eating a few, but if you can handle spice you'll keep on eating it anyways, but if you can't handle spice the sesame chicken is a tangy and sweet option (reminds me of sweet and sour pork but chicken). I also love their sticky rice in brown sugar (it's heavy, sweet, and fluffy when warm but has more of a mochi texture if you have it for a later for takeout however it's delicious in anyway!) Or if you prefer something light, cold, and refreshing the cold pudding in brown sugar (Allergy: Peanuts 🥜) is also amazing, maybe a slight acquired taste though. I also reserved a private room this round which you need a minimum of $200 bill, we were a bit short (11 invited but only 7 could make it) but the staff warned us and were okay about it this time around. Ruiji has the one of the most authentic Chinese food I've ever ate, and if you're planning for a private room meal with spicy crab and lobster you would need to make reservations for the room and that seafood. I've also went with my group of National Chinese Honors Society members and tried their mapo tofu(Has their signature Sichuan spice, really good!) and their sweet and sour fish (If you're a fan of fish and feel adventurous you must try this sweet and tangy fried fish dish, their presentation is one of a kind!) Overall, if Google gave prominent reviewers one six star review for their favorite restaurant (GOOGLE THIS IS AN IDEA!), this would be the restaurant I would give that to!
