Sweet and sour chicken is absolutely garbage. So dry and overcooked you choke on it. Quality is so bad. Fried rice is mid. Broccoli beef was mid. Egg rolls are tiny and tasteless. Spent $91 for 4 people. Pass on this place and save your money.

Although pricey for me, this place is WELL worth it. The quality and flavors are both high. I definitely feel it’s worth 12-20$ a plate. I haven’t had an opportunity to try the duck yet but it’s on my list to try! The employees are very accommodating and very pleasant. I’ve not eaten inside, only had delivery and pickup but all 3 experiences I’ve had so far have been more than pleasant. This is on my shortlist for repeat ordering for sure!! So far, we have had the seafood fried rice, the beef Japanese noodles, sesame chicken with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice as well as pad Thai. The only negative is…the pad Thai is not so good as leftovers so eat that first! 😁

The most exciting thing with Royal Thai restaurant is the ceiling decorations. This place has turned into a “order on line” then pick it up. It is not a friendly or warm place to dine. One has to order at the counter, then sit at a plain cool table and wait to be called, so you can get up and grab your metal tray and bring it back to the table. By the way, the main dish was served in a small carry out tray and the rice was served in a rice carton and they give cheap plastic fork and spoon. . I might as well have done the order and pick up thing. Regarding the food, I found it plain and nothing to talk about. It won’t be a place to talk about or return to. It was my first time at this Thai restaurant. I went with my friends. The ambiance was good. The wait time for the food order was about 5 minutes. We ordered veggie dumplings, fried rice, green curry and noodles. They served the food in to-go boxes (which I liked). The appetizer (dumplings) had only 1 vegetable. We didn’t enjoy the dumplings. The main course tasted good. However, all the dishes were very greasy. Being vegetarian I really wish they had more options in their menu.

I've been doing takeout lately, but also did indoor dining pre-pandemic many times. The staff is friendly and service is great. The food is fantastic! I've tried so many menu items and loved them all. The pho and pad see eiw are my most fave dishes. My family loves this restaurant!
