Royal Sushi Grill & Thai（Edgewater）

First time going. Instead of the normal Valentine's Day Dinner at other steak houses or High end places. We decided to eat here. We have been in this town for 5 years and have never been here. Everything was great. Food was on point. Service was good. Just needs some decor modifications and space. As good as any Japanese steak house, but without the show. Worth going too.

The food was good as it usually is, however the server this time was not friendly, did not smile or engage with us at all. She rushed us through our ordering process. She brought our meal when we were still trying to enjoy our sushi appetizer. Removed the plates we were still trying to use even though we said we weren’t ready yet. Everything was rushed and we did not receive the friendly service we have experienced in previous visits. . Not a good experience this time unfortunately. Would not recommend if this is the new dining experience we can expect.

This restaurant has a cozy, calming interior with beautiful walls and nice booths, as well as really convenient bar seating. I went with my family and we ordered the fish and shrimp Tempura, both of which came with veggies and made for really tasty (and filling) appetizers. Then we also got cashew shrimp with rice, stir fry udon, Thai mango shrimp with rice, and 2 avocado/salmon rolls and 2 cream cheese/salmon rolls. We tried a taro boba tea and a strawberry ramuné soda. Honestly, everything we got was tasty, generously portioned, and worth the price. The service was exceptionally fast, and it was an incredibly satisfying meal. I would highly recommend going here for a casual meal or if you're visiting new smyrna beach and want a place that caters to both the sushi-heads and thai-heads.

Sweet potato rolls were on point. Pad Thai was on point. Nice spot to check out if you’re ever in Edgewater and wanna grab a bite to eat. I just wish they had the chili sauce to go with the Pad Thai but they did give me some hot sauce.

The fried rice was pretty good, good size portion. We had the 2021 roll, California and dynamite roll. They were fresh, good Flavor . We also had the Taro Boba 🧋 delicious!. The service was great, kind and attentive. Would recommend
