About Royal India Grill

Royal India Grill, situated at 6 Broad St, Hamilton, NY 13346, is an Indian restaurant serving the local community. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on the platform, customer reviews indicate that it specializes in Indian cuisine.

The restaurant offers both dine-in and takeout services. One customer who ordered takeout praised the excellent interaction over the phone and during pickup. They also noted the nice seating inside the restaurant, complete with cloth napkins and nice cutlery/plates, suggesting a pleasant dine-in environment.

A highlight of Royal India Grill is its flavorful and often spicy food. The spicy chicken curry is mentioned as amazing and challenging for those with lower spice tolerance. The veg samosa is also highly recommended. Many dishes, such as the chicken curry, come with a generous portion of tasty rice, which is considered an added bonus by some.

The garlic naan is particularly popular, with one reviewer strongly recommending it as a must-try item, especially for those unsure about the restaurant or Indian food in general.

However, a contrasting review mentions inconsistency in spice levels. A returning customer, who previously found the spice levels accommodating, reported that the food has become increasingly spicy, causing discomfort and acid reflux. This suggests that spice levels may vary, and those sensitive to spice should inquire specifically when ordering.

For orders or inquiries, you can contact Royal India Grill at (315) 825-3555 or +1 315-825-3555.

Local users looking for flavorful Indian food, including spicy options, may find Royal India Grill appealing, but those sensitive to spice should exercise caution and communicate their preferences when ordering.

Amazing food! Only reason I gave the service a 4 star rating was because I got my food to go. But the interaction over the phone and when I picked up my food was excellent. Also the seating they have inside is nice, with nice cloth napkins and nice cutlery/plates. I love spicy food, but my spice tolerance definitely isn’t high. The spicy chicken curry tastes amazing and tested my spice tolerance, which was exactly what I was looking for! The veg samosa was also to die for. The chicken curry comes with a lot of tasty rice which I wasn’t aware of, so an added bonus. BUT THE GARLIC NAAN! OOF! If you’re not sure about this place or Indian food in general, it is a MUST try!

I'm only giving it 2 stars because it USED to accommodate my wish for the least amount of spice level possible but lately the food has been setting my mouth on fire and due to the spice level it's been making my acid reflux flare up. I've had a rough week and all I've wanted was my comfort food tikka masala but it's beyond too spicy to eat without my acid reflux flaring up. Will not be coming back

Went back after a long stay away. Food was on point this time per a recommendation. Recently though disappointing that hours are not as posted nor product that brought us back available. Service and atmosphere still suspect.

Royal India Grill always provides consistently good food. We love their veg pakora, as well as chicken tikka masala and tandoori offerings.

The only authentic Indian restaurant between binghamton and utica. Diverse menu for people with food restrictions. A section on menu for vegetarian/vegan. The dine in service has always been quick/reasonable amount of time from when you order. Makhani chicken is the best I've had in my limited experience with Indian food. Not big on mango but the mango drink is really good. Heavy, but good. Entrees fall into that $12-$18 range. Apps are mostly well under $10 The only "warning" is parking. Something out of their control. It's all street side and it's at the main intersection of a busy little college town. You may need to park across the street and cross a busy road to get there.
