About Rolling Wok
Rolling Wok is a Chinese restaurant located at 18483 Colima Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, USA. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, it aims to serve the community with a variety of Chinese dishes. For inquiries, they can be contacted at (626) 965-9680 or +1 626-965-9680.
Based on the limited customer feedback available online, there are significant concerns regarding the hygiene and sanitation practices at Rolling Wok. One review explicitly states that the place is "so unhygienic!" The reviewer recounts a negative experience where their friend purchased three dishes from the restaurant and subsequently discarded all of them due to finding long hairs in the food. This led the reviewer to express strong disgust and a definitive decision to never eat at Rolling Wok again.
Another customer shared their observations while intending to try Rolling Wok. Upon closer inspection, they noticed that the restaurant had a "C" rating. More alarmingly, they reported seeing a small roach on the "C" rating sign displayed inside the premises. This observation led them to feel "grossed out" and to decide against trying the food at this location. The reviewer explicitly mentioned that the restaurant "gives off unsanitary /dirty vibes," emphasizing that cleanliness and sanitation are crucial aspects that should not be compromised, especially in the context of food service.
Interestingly, the second reviewer did note that the food "looked delicious," which suggests that the visual presentation of the dishes might be appealing. However, this positive initial impression was overshadowed by the concerns regarding hygiene and the visible presence of a roach. Despite the potential appeal of the food's appearance, the perceived unsanitary conditions were a decisive factor in their decision not to dine at Rolling Wok.
The fact that Rolling Wok has a "C" rating is a matter of public record and typically indicates that the establishment did not meet the standards required for an "A" or "B" rating during its most recent health inspection. While a "C" rating does not necessarily mean a restaurant is unsafe, it often signals areas where improvements are needed in terms of hygiene and food safety practices. The observation of a roach further exacerbates the concerns associated with this rating.
Regarding the environment of Rolling Wok, the reviews suggest a place that may suffer from cleanliness issues. The "unsanitary /dirty vibes" mentioned by one reviewer paint a picture of a restaurant where attention to hygiene might be lacking. The presence of pests, as indicated by the roach sighting and the hair found in the food, are direct indicators of potential environmental hygiene problems.
In terms of services, the reviews do not provide much insight into the quality of customer service. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the hygiene and sanitation aspects. There is no mention of the staff's attentiveness, friendliness, or efficiency. The primary takeaway is the negative impression related to cleanliness, which would likely overshadow any positive aspects of service.
The features of Rolling Wok, such as specific dishes or culinary specialties, are also not detailed in the provided reviews. While one reviewer mentioned that the food "looked delicious," they did not specify which dishes caught their eye. The overwhelming concern about hygiene prevents any assessment of the food's actual taste or quality based on these reviews.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Rolling Wok. Given the negative feedback concerning hygiene, it is unlikely that potential customers would be swayed by promotions without assurances of improved cleanliness and sanitation standards.
The strong negative feedback in both available reviews paints a concerning picture of Rolling Wok. The allegations of unhygienic conditions, including hair found in food and the sighting of a roach, coupled with a "C" health rating, are serious red flags for potential diners. These issues directly impact the safety and comfort of the dining experience and outweigh any potential positive aspects that are not mentioned in the current feedback.
For local users considering Rolling Wok, the available information strongly suggests exercising caution. The reported hygiene issues are significant and should be taken seriously. Potential customers might want to look for more recent reviews or information about any changes in the restaurant's health rating or practices before considering dining at this establishment. It would be prudent to prioritize restaurants with a more consistent and positive record regarding cleanliness and food safety.
In conclusion, the limited customer reviews for Rolling Wok in Rowland Heights raise serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene and sanitation. Reports of finding hair in food and seeing a roach, along with a "C" health rating, suggest potential issues that local users should be aware of. While one reviewer noted that the food looked delicious, these visual impressions were not enough to overcome the concerns about cleanliness. Without further information indicating improvements in hygiene standards, potential customers may want to consider other Chinese restaurant options in the area.

This place is so unhygienic! My friend bought three dishes here and threw them all away! Found long hairs in them. Disgusting🤢Will never eat here again!
I've been passing by for awhile wanting to try. Upon closer look I saw they have a "C" rating. Inside on the C rating sign was a tiny roach. I was grossed out so we will be passing on this location. It gives off unsanitary /dirty vibes. Two things that should not be associated with food. I gave two stars as we never tried the food which was a shame because it looked delicious. They should focus on cleanliness and sanitation especially in today's era.
Guys, it’s fast food, if you can’t accept that don’t eat here. That being said, it’s so fun picking your entrees from all the options, I’ve never picked anything that didn’t taste good. Cheap and unfussy.
I absolutely love getting takeout from Rolling Wok for their delicious and affordable Chinese food! The variety of choices they offer is impressive, making every visit a delightful culinary adventure. Whether it's the perfectly cooked entrees or the mouthwatering flavors, Rolling Wok never disappoints. It has become our go-to spot for satisfying our Chinese food cravings. Highly recommended!
I've just discovered Rolling Wok a couple months ago and let me tell you, I am amazed. I've missed this authentic, home-style Chinese/Taiwanese fast food. First of all, the choices are great. There are so many dishes to choose from and so far from what I've tried, all of them are very yummy. I wasn't able to snap a pic of all the dishes but there are many more than this. Second, the prices are unbeatable. You cannot get this quality food for this price anywhere else. Very cheap but very yummy!! I see lots of complaints about price increases but with the increase of many factors, it's inevitable. Not just for RW but other stores too. The thing is that it's still very cheap and the food is high quality enough that you are not wasting money. I cannot find a place that can match this price and quality. Even large fast food Chinese food chains have terrible quality but is more expensive than RW. I'm definitely choosing RW. Lastly, I love how rice and soup are optional and can be added on for a small extra cost. Usually at these three dish + one rice places, rice is already included, but sometimes I have rice at home and don't want. I love how I can add it on if I want it. Not to mention, the soup is AMAZING it reminds me so much of what I had when I was younger. The soup is a soft but tasty clear-ish soup with corn, egg, cabbage, onion, and another vegetable I believe. The workers are always moving very quickly so even if there's a long line the wait is not long at all. They are always very sweet as well. I highly recommend! It's definitely worth it.
