Rock N Roll Sushi

First time visit to this small casual sushi restaurant tucked away on the north side of Tioga. We sat in the booth and were impressed by the quality and freshness of the food. We had fried wontons as an appetizer, with the dipping sauce, and chicken hibachi that included a nice fresh ginger salad, fried brown rice, and vegetables . Everything about the dishes were excellent, the texture of the vegetables, and the richness of the sauces. The wontons were pure fried joy. I had the misimpression that the rock ‘n’ roll part of rock ‘n’ roll Sushi would be loud, but the screens with videos were a nice mix of vintage videos - not too loud, giving an unexpected nostalgic flavor. The general demeanor of the restaurant was quiet staff, very polite. We’ll be back.

So this place is anything but the traditional, but it is amazing. The atmosphere is not what you expect. You feel like your at a music store and not a sushi restaurant. The food is also anything but traditional. It was delicious and different. It is definitely an experience you should par take at least once.

My wife and I had a fun experience here! The restaurant is decorated like a rock stage playing great tunes. Our sushi was delicious too! We got the punk rock roll which was a very eclectic, and tasty roll that I highly recommend. We also had the spicy shrimp roll which was very solid roll to! It may not be your traditional sushi restaurant, but we’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Just lost a customer and family that live in the neighborhood… ordered take out when picked order wasn’t ready paid and Tipped 20% I’m always a good tipper and embrace others to do so also… when the order was ready I asked for some extra aïoli sauce.. the bill was over $100 and I asked for 6 of the small plastic side orders… they said they could provide 4 however not Six.. then they brought out the credit sard machine to charge me for two 2 oz sauce sides… like how petty could a business be..well I said refund me my 20% tip and I’ll pay for all 6… they refused to refund my tip and I gave them back the 4 and suggested the give them to other customers…Never Going Back and this is the downfall of a business over two 2 oz sides of sauce…

Highly recommend if you are in the area and craving sushi. Variety of options and everything came out to or exceeding expectations!
