River House

I've been on the hunt for a good place for Thai Pineapple fried rice, so I've been wanting to try this location for awhile. Struck out on the fried rice , so My Daughter and I ordered takeout from here for lunch, and were quite surprised. The food was reasonably priced, and was very good. We also enjoyed the shaved Hawaiian Ice, my daughter ordered a snowball, and I ordered a Thai coffee Hawaiian Ice which was absolutely delicious!!! Don't let the appearance steer you away, give it a try. I know I will definitely be coming back.

We have dined here a half dozen times. A nice small town restaurant with seating for about 30 people. The food is a mix of Thi and Chinese with an ice cream shop on the other half of the property. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I have yet to have a dish I did not enjoy. Tonight we had Crab Rangoon, Garlic Chicken, and Kung Pao Delight.

Only ever ordered out. But the food is always cooked well and very tasty. It’s taken me 10 different Chinese restaurants around the area to finally find this place to have the taste level I want from my Chinese food. Never ate inside but when I pick up, the place is very clean. I do like in the spring and summer time, they have this outside serving window, so helpful and faster to pick up food. Plus they have ice cream parlor and I freakin love that feature lol. I always have an ice cream on my ride home. lol I know you shouldn’t have dessert before dinner but when you pay for the meal and have to pick it up, my opinion, you get to eat whatever the hell you want. Very nice people working there too. Never an issue with attitudes.

Wow...what a pleasant surprise the RiverHouse turned out to be. My wife and I very rarely ever get to Craley, but we found ourselves there early afternoon on a Wednesday. I had vaguely heard about this place years ago so we decided to try some lunch. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced and the food was absolutely delicious. In addition to Sesame Chicken, we tried the Pad Thai Shrimp. Both were outstanding...very delicious and a beautiful presentation considering this was a lunch special. I wished we lived closer...but whenever we go to Lancaster County now, we will be adjusting our route home to Southern York County to go through Craley so we can patronize the RiverHouse again and try some of their other great-looking menu items. Our waitress by the way was very courteous and pleasant. Overall a great 5 star experience at the RiverHouse! Thanks!!!

We live nearby, And order take out once a week. I love. That their vegetables are fresh and they cook everything As it's ordered instead of something sitting under A light. Never had anything that I don't like and everything is always Piping hot!!!!! I hope they stick around Because they. Have spoiled me from any other chinese place!!!
