Based on customer reviews, the dim sum at Ritzy Palace is considered decent, with reasonable portion sizes and prices, earning an approximate rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the food is generally described as tasty and fresh, some customers find it to be a little pricier compared to other dim sum restaurants. The egg tarts are particularly praised for their size and quality.
The restaurant's decor is noted as quite outdated and could benefit from renovation. One customer mentioned a slight paint smell in the room they were seated in on the day of their visit.
Ritzy Palace can get very busy, and customers are advised to arrive before opening hours to avoid potential wait times of 30-45 minutes for a table. Upon arrival, a number will be issued at the front booth, and names are called out. It is important to note that Ritzy Palace operates on a CASH ONLY basis.
For those dining in groups, some of the set meals are highlighted as a good deal and worth trying. The staff are generally described as friendly.
In summary, Ritzy Palace Chinese Cuisine offers decent Chinese food and dim sum at reasonable portions and prices, with friendly service. However, potential customers should be aware of the outdated decor, the cash-only payment policy, and the likelihood of waiting for a table during peak hours.

I would give this restaurant 3.5 ⭐ for dim sum. Food tastes decent, for reasonable portion sizes and prices. The restaurant decor is quite outdated and could use a renovation. Some of the set meals are a good deal, and are worth trying if you come in a group. Staff are also friendly. I was most impressed with the size and quality of their egg tarts. I sat in the room, and there was a very slight paint smell the day I went.
This place gets really busy, arrive before they open or you’ll have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. You’ll get a number at the front booth and they will call it out - CASH ONLY!!! Great food, tasty and fresh to order. All arrived quickly, but it’s a little pricey in comparison to other dim sum restaurants.
We have dined here number of times, recommended by a friend who has dined at most restaurants in Markham & Richmond Hill. Can order set meals for 4, 8, 10, or a la carte. Prices are reasonable, but higher for seafood from the tanks at the front. While their Peking Duck is very good, we wanted seafood and ordered a la carte. Steamed sliced Geoduck (not in season), so we enjoyed 6 large Scallops (with skirt meat) in the shell steamed with garlic, green onions & Vermicelli noodles ($10 each, excellent); steamed whole “gold sand” turbot ($48 x 2.76 lbs = $132). Turbot was fresh but pricy. Will order steamed whole green bass ($55) next time. The snow pea sprouts with King mushrooms excellent, and tofu with mushrooms good as well. We ordered a sweet and sour pork dish for a guest. Restaurant was busy and somewhat noisy, but food and service was great. Will return for Peking duck, thank you!
Food is average all I can say, some are frozen stuff got heated clearly. What matters is price tag on menu is CASH ONLY and you will need to pay something like 10% extra for DEBIT OR CREDIT. This is absurd. I never see restaurant does like this. Typically way is discount on cash but you don’t write on menu like that. Anyway it’s my first visit and my last visit as well
Pretty good dimsum spot. Standard offerings, ok prices, straightforward service. My favourites were the vegetarian bean curd rolls, baby octopus in curry sauce, and crispy durian cake. Would recommend if you want a no frills dimsum experience.
