They ordered two lunch combos with house special fried rice and boneless BBQ ribs. While they found the rice to be okay, noting it was missing something but had good texture and saltiness, they greatly enjoyed the ribs, describing them as tender with a sauce they liked. They also praised the friendliness of the person who took their order and felt pleased with their meal overall.

However, another customer reported a very negative experience with a takeout order totaling $55. They claimed the rice tasted burnt, and the chicken wings tasted like they were fried in old grease and appeared unappetizing. This customer stated they tried to contact the restaurant multiple times to express their dissatisfaction but received no response. They expressed extreme disappointment and vowed never to return or recommend the restaurant to anyone. Additionally, this reviewer commented on the ethnicity of the staff, which is not directly relevant to the food or service quality but was a point of concern for them.

We’re on vacation for my birthday and actually came to the plaza for the bakery but recognized our flag on the door and decided to give them a try, despite the reviews. We got 2 lunch combos with house special fried rice and boneless bbq ribs. The rice was okay, it was missing something but the texture was perfect and the salt was just right. The ribs were great, we loved that they were tender and I liked the sauce a lot! Lastly, the lady who took our order was very nice and explained the prices. It wasn’t the best but we were pleased and enjoyed our meal.

I spent $55 for take out and get home and my rice tasted burnt and chicken wings tasted like they were fried in old grease and looked like they were on steroids with feathers still on it …..I called numerous times to let them know how our food tasted and they never picked up very disappointing! Terrible never again and on top of it all they were NOT Puerto Ricans they need to stop that shame on them! I would’ve given no stars if I could and will NEVER recommend it to NO ONE at all.

Friendly staff and it was a pleasure to meet Puerto Ricans in Florida. Great place for a quick bite. Shout out to the chef all the way from New York.

Went for the first time to try it out, since I heard the food was good. But unfortunately the food wasn’t good at all. The rice tasted burned and greasy the fries we’re greasy. The chickens were kinda of hard and not that great as well. I won’t want to eat there again.

I was looking for a place with good Chinese rice and so far this one wins the cake. Everything that was ordered was cooked to perfection. My mom is very picky and she also liked the food.
