About Rich Aroma
Welcome to Rich Aroma, a Chinese restaurant situated at 465 W 125th St in the historic Harlem neighborhood of New York City (NY 10027, USA). As a Chinese restaurant serving the local community, Rich Aroma aims to provide a variety of Chinese culinary offerings. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance are not available online, we focus on presenting an objective overview based on recent customer feedback regarding their experiences with Rich Aroma's food and service.
Information regarding the environment of Rich Aroma is limited based on the provided reviews. One review mentions that they "think they are new owners," which could potentially imply recent changes to the restaurant's operations or possibly its physical appearance. However, without more specific details, it is difficult to accurately describe the current dining atmosphere. Local users may wish to visit the location to form their own impression of the environment.
In terms of services, the reviews primarily discuss takeout experiences. One customer, who claims to order "very often," indicates that Rich Aroma is a place where takeout is a regular occurrence. However, this particular review also details an issue with an order where broccoli was missing from a General Tso Chicken with broccoli and white rice order. Upon contacting the restaurant, the customer was informed that they would have to pay an additional $2 for six pieces of broccoli, which they found unreasonable given that it should have been included with their original order. This suggests that while takeout is a service offered, there may be inconsistencies in order accuracy and potential issues with customer service when addressing order discrepancies. Another review mentions a missing rice order and a discrepancy in the size of the meal received compared to what was expected for the price paid, leading to dissatisfaction and a feeling of wasted money. These instances highlight the importance of verifying orders before leaving the premises or upon delivery.
Based on the limited information, it is challenging to pinpoint specific features that consistently define Rich Aroma. The negative reviews raise concerns about order accuracy, potential upcharges for items that should be included, and discrepancies in portion sizes relative to the cost. While one customer was a frequent patron, their recent experience suggests a decline in service or quality that prompted them to share their negative feedback. The other review expresses significant disappointment with the overall meal and the handling of a missing item. These experiences do not provide a clear indication of any particularly positive features that stand out.
The two available reviews do not highlight any specific dishes as being particularly noteworthy in a positive way. Instead, they focus on negative aspects of recent orders. One review mentions General Tso Chicken, but in the context of it being ordered with broccoli that was missing. The other review mentions a "large meal" that turned out to be small and a forgotten rice order. Without any positive mentions of specific dishes, it is difficult to identify any culinary features that consistently satisfy customers based on this limited feedback. Potential customers may need to explore the menu themselves to discover if there are particular items that are well-prepared and enjoyable.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Rich Aroma in the provided reviews. There are no mentions of discounts, special offers, or new menu items. Given the recent negative experiences shared by customers, it is unclear if Rich Aroma is actively running any promotions to attract or retain business. Local users interested in any potential promotions should contact the restaurant directly at (212) 932-8706 or +1 212-932-8706 to inquire.
In conclusion, Rich Aroma is a Chinese restaurant located in Harlem, NYC, at 465 W 125th St. Recent customer reviews raise concerns regarding order accuracy, potential unexpected charges for missing items, and discrepancies in meal sizes. One long-time customer expressed disappointment with a recent order where broccoli was missing and the restaurant wanted to charge extra for it. Another customer reported a missing rice order and a meal that was smaller than expected for the price. These reviews suggest potential issues with quality control and customer service that local users should be aware of. Without any positive feedback on specific dishes or mentions of a welcoming environment, and with no information on current promotions, prospective customers should consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to patronize Rich Aroma. It may be prudent to exercise caution and perhaps verify orders carefully before payment and upon receipt.

What was supposed to be a large meal ened up being a small. And they forgot a rice order after I called to verify my order. A waste of 50 bucks I think they are new owners
I order here very often but this time I asked for general tso chicken with broccoli and white rice and this is what I received. I then called them to ask what happened to the broccoli and they told me I could order more broccoli but they would charge me $2 for 6 pieces! There should b no reason y I would have to pay that much if it should have came with what I ordered!
You get a lot of food and it’s decent for this area. Order for pick up is 10-20 min. I had their mixed veggies with tofu and vegetable fried rice for lunch special.
This use to be a great restaurant however ever since the new owners took over . EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE ! They aren’t clean , have a nasty attitude when you come in to order . They also will try to scam you ! For example their menu states if you spend over a certain amount they will give you a tea for free. However if you are unaware they will not give it to you ! Horrible service do not go there
I'd give this place zero stars if I could..this is the worst chinese food I've ever had in my 30 years of living.the fries were drowned in spoiled bbq sauce ..I didn't even know that was possible..the chicken wings tasted bland and it seem as if they tripled fried it as in fried it twice as per usu then refried it a third time to heat it up..the brocolli and rice was cool but I won't won't order from this spot ever in my life they could offer me a free meal an I'll still decline.
