About Rice Xpress

Welcome to the introduction of Rice Xpress, a local establishment categorized as a Chinese Restaurant, located at 6036 Lake Worth Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas (TX 76135), USA. Based on customer reviews, Rice Xpress appears to operate as a Chinese fast-food restaurant, offering a quick service model for individuals seeking Asian cuisine. For inquiries or to place an order, you can contact them at (817) 238-8088 or their mobile number +1 817-238-8088.

As a Chinese fast-food restaurant, Rice Xpress likely features a menu with a variety of popular Chinese-American dishes designed for quick preparation and service. Customers can typically expect to find options such as fried rice, various noodle dishes, and a selection of entrees featuring chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables, often prepared with flavorful sauces. Appetizers like egg rolls and crab rangoon, as well as soups such as egg drop soup, are also common offerings in this category. One review mentions ordering Shrimp Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon, and Egg Drop Soup, providing insight into some of their specific menu items. Another review references an order E13, which is shrimp with string beans, indicating a coded menu system that customers might become familiar with. The availability of steamed white rice and the possibility of mixed vegetables (though this was reportedly missed in one order) also suggest some level of customization might be intended, even if not always executed perfectly.

The service model at Rice Xpress is consistent with fast-food establishments, emphasizing speed and efficiency. Customers likely place their orders at a counter and receive their food shortly thereafter, either to eat on-site or for takeout. One reviewer who visited on a Saturday night noted that the restaurant was "pretty busy," indicating a potentially high volume of orders. The interaction with the staff at the front counter seems to be direct and relatively quick, with one reviewer noting that their order was ready within ten minutes. However, another reviewer experienced an issue with their order and found the resolution offered (returning to the restaurant to have it fixed and paying the difference) to be inconvenient. Additionally, one customer was informed that substitutions were not allowed ("Everything is as it comes"), which suggests a lack of flexibility in their order preparation, a common trait in fast-food establishments prioritizing efficiency.

The environment of Rice Xpress, as a Chinese fast-food restaurant, is likely functional and geared towards quick service and casual dining. You might expect a clean but not overly elaborate space with tables for customers who choose to eat on-site while their food is being prepared or after receiving their order. One reviewer mentioned waiting in the front where two ladies were working, with one being very busy but still acknowledging the customer with a smile. This suggests a bustling but potentially friendly atmosphere at the service counter. However, there are no specific details about the overall decor or ambiance of the dining area itself.

Features of Rice Xpress, based on the customer reviews, include generally hot and good food, as mentioned by one reviewer who specifically enjoyed the well-seasoned Shrimp Pad Thai with a decent amount of shrimp and the Crab Rangoon. The quick preparation time (order done within ten minutes) is also a feature of their service model. However, a significant issue highlighted in one review is the problem with order accuracy, where a customer who ordered a specific meal with substitutions received an incomplete order with missing items. The proposed resolution, requiring the customer to return and pay extra, suggests a lack of customer-centric problem-solving. Another potential feature, or lack thereof, is the inflexibility regarding substitutions, as one customer was told that the menu items could not be altered. This might be a standard practice for efficiency in a fast-food setting but could be a drawback for customers with specific dietary preferences or requests. The long-term positive experience of one customer ("My order has never been wrong in the last 3yrs I’ve been to this place") prior to a recent error suggests that order accuracy might have been a strength in the past but has recently faltered.

Currently, no specific promotional information for Rice Xpress is available in the provided reviews. Chinese fast-food restaurants often offer combo meals, lunch specials, or family deals to provide value to their customers. To learn about any current promotions or special offers at Rice Xpress, it would be best to check their menu in-store, look for local advertisements, or contact the restaurant directly.

The customer reviews for Rice Xpress in Fort Worth, TX, present a somewhat mixed picture. One reviewer, a first-time visitor to a Chinese fast-food restaurant, found the food to be hot and good, specifically mentioning the well-seasoned Shrimp Pad Thai and the tasty Crab Rangoon, and indicated a likelihood of returning. This suggests that the quality of some of their standard dishes is satisfactory. However, another long-term customer experienced a significant error with their order, receiving an incomplete meal with missing vegetables and shrimp, and found the proposed resolution to be inconvenient. This highlights potential issues with order accuracy and customer service in resolving mistakes. Additionally, the reported inflexibility regarding substitutions might be a drawback for some customers.

The fact that a customer had three years of error-free orders prior to a recent mistake indicates that the restaurant may have generally been reliable in the past, making the recent error potentially an anomaly or a sign of changing standards. However, the inconvenience caused to the customer by the error and the offered resolution is a point of concern for prospective diners.

In conclusion, Rice Xpress in Fort Worth, TX, operates as a Chinese fast-food restaurant offering a range of standard dishes. While one first-time customer found the food to be hot, good, and prepared quickly, another long-term customer experienced a significant issue with order accuracy and found the proposed resolution unsatisfactory. The restaurant appears to have limited flexibility regarding substitutions. No specific promotional information is currently available. Local users should consider the potential for both satisfactory food and possible order errors, as well as the lack of customization options, when deciding whether to patronize Rice Xpress. It might be beneficial to double-check orders before leaving the premises to avoid potential issues.

They have an order E13 which is shrimp with string beans but I specifically said E13 meal with mix vegetables and steamed white rice, all I got were green beans and onions. No mix vegetables and no shrimp. My order has never been wrong in the last 3yrs I’ve been to this place. I called them to let them know that they messed up my order and all I got was that I can go back and they can fix my order and just pay the difference. Makes no sense going back using up my gas for me to get the order I had originally ordered.

I had never been to a Chinese fast-food restaurant, but Rice Xpress was my first experience. I went on a Saturday night, they were pretty busy. There were two ladies in the front. The Asian lady was running around very busy but glanced at me a few times with a smile. I waited for her to address me, and when she did, I asked if I could substitute one thing with another. Her answer was no. Everything is as it comes. Okay, no problem. I decided on the Shrimp Pad Thai, Crab Ragoon, and Egg Drop Soup. My order was done within a matter of ten minutes. I looked it over, tipped, and left the establishment. The food was hot and good. The pad thai, which was well seasoned, had approximately seven shrimp. The Crab Rangoon was also good. I would go back 3/5. It's Chinese fast food, which was good and satisfying.

Yall I need you to know. I’m a big boy and I eat out quite a bit but this was the best steam price that I’ve had in years. I got the sesame chicken and it was delicious. Next time I might ask for more sauce because it was so good and the rice was so sticky and moist that I feel like it would be great with the rice, but I wanted to make this review to give credit where credit is due

I ate half my food before taking a photo for a review 🤣🤣 that's how good the food is! I got the Kung pao, hot and sour soup and donuts. The rice is pretty bad, not gonna lie... but it's fine mixed with the Kung pao. The Kung pao was DELICIOUS and you get a really big portion for the cost. I usually get Kung pao at panda express.... this Kung pao is way better. My son loved the hot and sour soup and donuts. I would just recommend to the owner, change up the rice so it's not so mushy and cheap tasting. I would pay an extra $3-5/ plate if the rice was better because the main dish was excellent.
