Based on the customer reviews, Rice Pie offers both takeout and dine-in services. One reviewer mentioned their family being "so satisfied" after trying the restaurant for the first time, implying a positive experience with the service, whether it was dine-in or takeout. The other reviewer specifically mentioned ordering the "curry chicken rice," suggesting that takeout is a readily available option. To confirm the full range of services, including dine-in availability and any specific ordering procedures, contacting Rice Pie directly using the provided phone numbers is recommended.

A notable feature of Rice Pie, as highlighted by customer feedback, is the positive reception of specific dishes. One reviewer particularly praised the "curry chicken rice," describing it as "great!" This indicates that Rice Pie may have certain signature dishes that are popular among its patrons. Another reviewer enthusiastically recommended the "rice rolls," describing them as "soft and delicious!" This suggests that rice rolls are a specialty of the restaurant and a must-try item for new customers. The overall satisfaction expressed by the family in the second review indicates a generally high quality of food across their order.

However, one reviewer did mention a concern regarding the preparation of fried dishes, specifically noting "the amount of oil they put with fried dishes like the beef chow mein." This is an important piece of feedback for potential customers who may be mindful of oil content in their food. While this reviewer still found the overall experience positive enough to mention the great curry chicken rice, the comment about excessive oil in fried dishes is worth considering.

The two customer reviews offer valuable, albeit somewhat contrasting, insights into the dining experience at Rice Pie. This suggests that while some dishes are highly praised, others might have preparation aspects that some customers find less desirable.

The second review provides an overwhelmingly positive first impression. The family's satisfaction and their specific praise for the "soft and delicious" rice rolls indicate a potential strength in these specialty items. Their intention to return and order more food further underscores their positive experience. This review suggests that Rice Pie is capable of providing a highly satisfying meal experience, particularly for those who enjoy their specialty dishes.

Considering these reviews, Rice Pie appears to be a local Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn that offers some well-received dishes, such as curry chicken rice and, especially, their soft and delicious rice rolls. The positive feedback from a family's first visit suggests a generally high level of satisfaction. The emphasis on specific dishes in the positive reviews suggests that Rice Pie might have particular strengths in certain areas of their menu.

In conclusion, Rice Pie at 7006 18th Ave in Brooklyn offers a local option for Chinese cuisine with positive feedback on dishes like curry chicken rice and their specialty rice rolls, which are described as soft and delicious. The restaurant seems to provide a satisfying experience for families and individuals alike, with at least takeout and likely dine-in services available. Curry chicken rice was great! The only negative was the amount of oil they put with fried dishes like the beef chow mein.

I can’t say much about the food since I only got a mango slush. The mango slush was good. It was very sweet and had the slushy consistency I like. However, the service there wasn’t the best. I waited for a while until they finally took my order when there was like no one there and they took a while to make it. Also, while waiting, despite there being plenty of space, I was this pushed off to the side??? As for the atmosphere, it was fine. However, there were a ton of children who kept coming back in and out which made the restaurant very loud.

We ordered the Mix Pork Soup with Wine(猪杂酒), the Mix Pork Soup with Thin Rice Noodles, the other soup with the Thick Rice Noodles and the rice rolls with peanuts and soy sauce. EXCEPT THE RICE ROLLS, the rest of the food were a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The two soup with basically NO FLAVOR and the meats were not worth the prices. The two soups costs around $15 each and the rice rolls costs around $5 each. Will come back for the rice rolls ONLY.
