Customer reviews for Rice Chinese & Sushi present contrasting opinions. One customer who dined in during lunchtime found the prices decent for the lunch specials, which included soup, an entree, rice, and a spring roll for $10.95. They ordered the General Tso, Beef Lo Mein, and Chicken with mushrooms, noting that all tasted pretty good. While one diner felt the portion size was adequate, another thought it was not enough.

However, this same customer raised significant concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant, mentioning dust, sticky plates and soy sauce dispenser. They felt the interior needed a good cleaning and suggested that without these issues, the atmosphere could have warranted a higher rating. They also noted the waiter was friendly and attentive.

In contrast, another reviewer had a very negative experience, describing the restaurant as a "joke." They found the prices to be significantly higher and the food portions much smaller compared to other restaurants in the area. This reviewer was particularly critical of the sushi rolls, describing them as very small. While they found the Beef and Broccoli to be good, they rated the General Tso as awful, the fried rice as inadequate, and the lo mein as subpar. This customer strongly disagreed with any positive reviews regarding value or quality.

Given these mixed reviews, local users considering Rice Chinese & Sushi for meal delivery or dine-in may want to weigh the positive feedback on some of the lunch special dishes and the friendly service against the concerns raised about cleanliness and value for money, particularly regarding portion sizes and sushi.

We were driving by and decided to try. We walked in and it was empty. Clue#1. Our waiter was friendly. I think for the prices today it was decent. We had the lunch specials. It came with soup, entree, rice, and spring roll for 10.95. We ordered General Tso, Beef Lo Mein, and Chicken with mushrooms. They all tasted pretty good. My husband thought it wasn’t enough food, but I was fine with the portion. My biggest complaint is that it was dusty, the underside of our plates felt sticky, as well as the dispenser for soy sauce. It needs a good cleaning inside. If it wasn't for that, I’d probably give it 4 stars for atmosphere. I don’t like giving bad reviews, but I think I should have mentioned it to our waiter. He was nice and attentive.

This place is a joke. 10x more expensive for 1/3 the food you get from from other restaurants in the area. To even call these things rolls is a joke. They are the size of my thumb. Beef and broccoli was good. General tso was awful, Fried rice was a joke and the lo mein was airplane, in coach lunch level at best. Anyone giving this place a positive value or quality review is out of their minds.

Update: To start out I and so upset with the integrity of this establishment! I'm from out of town and my friend and I went here to grab lunch. After I get back to my home state and check my bank account I see the purchases that cleared and I noticed that the waiter (I believe his name was Joe) gave himself and extra tip. I'm glad I kept my receipt. I called my bank to dispute it and called the restaurant directly. He said he would make it right but I don't appreciate people STEALING from me and thought y'all should be warned!! Original review: I wish I would've reviewed this place before going because it was in fact very disappointing. I don't see this place being open much longer (it was dead when we went... see pictures). The food quality and taste was a (small) step above mall Chinese food, the portion sizes are for children, and it was way over priced. You've been warned.

Not impressed, ripped off! Was given the menu and the my dinner selection was $13.95. I get the bill and my selection was $15.95! I inquired why was it was more expensive and was told because I was dining inside. What??!?!? Plus 3.50 for a canned soda is ridiculous. Will not be back!

For $27.97, I got egg drop noodle soup, eel nigiri, beef lo main, and a sweet tea, along with free fried puff things (they come with every table). The beef lo main is actually flavored and not just put in one big pot at the end of the day as slop like most places. I saw the reviews before coming here, and I honestly thought it wouldn't be that great. I think the only thing that is a downside is the prices compared to others, but when I came in on Sunday around 5:30 and stayed till 6:30, one other table of officers came in. The portions are great; they are friendly, quick, and give a feeling of a small home town business, not to mention they didn't mind. I brought my laptop and backpack with me. I give it 4 stars only because I wish it could be just a couple of dollars cheaper, but overall it is very great! I would recommend it if you are craving American Chinese food!
