About Reng Hua

Reng Hua is a Chinese restaurant located at 103 Huntington Ave N # 8912 in Castle Rock, Washington, serving the local community with a variety of Chinese dishes. Based on recent customer feedback, experiences at Reng Hua appear to be mixed, with some praising the food for its quality and quantity, while others have encountered significant issues affecting their dining experience. It is important for local users to consider these varying perspectives when deciding whether to order from Reng Hua.

One customer shared a particularly negative experience, detailing an order of the appetizer combo for takeout (as dine-in is not offered). This customer mentioned a history of fluctuating experiences at Reng Hua, noting a pattern of good food in the past followed by "continuous bad experiences" in recent years, leading to repeated promises to give the restaurant "one more chance." However, their latest encounter proved to be the final straw. They reported finding a hair in their crab puff and described the BBQ pork as feeling like it was straight out of the refrigerator and extremely dried out. These are significant concerns regarding food quality and hygiene, which could be off-putting for potential customers.

On the other hand, another reviewer had a much more positive experience, stating that the food was "great, fresh, and plentiful." This customer found that an order of three meals and one appetizer was more than sufficient for a family of five, even resulting in leftovers. This feedback highlights the potential for generous portion sizes and fresh ingredients at Reng Hua. This reviewer also indicated a willingness to return, although they noted that the experience would be improved with the availability of indoor seating, confirming that Reng Hua operates as a takeout-only establishment.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is evident that the quality and consistency of food at Reng Hua might be variable. While some customers have found the food to be great, fresh, and plentiful, others have encountered issues with food safety and quality, such as finding foreign objects in their food and receiving items that were not properly prepared or stored. This inconsistency is an important factor for local users to be aware of when considering Reng Hua for their Chinese takeout needs.

Regarding the environment, the reviews clearly indicate that Reng Hua does not offer dine-in service and operates as a takeout-only restaurant. The second reviewer's comment about wishing for indoor seating confirms this. The first review does not provide any details about the physical appearance or cleanliness of the takeout area. Therefore, local users should be aware that their interaction with Reng Hua will likely be limited to picking up their orders. The absence of dine-in service might be a drawback for those who prefer to eat their meals at the restaurant.

The services offered by Reng Hua are primarily focused on takeout. Customers can place orders via phone at (360) 274-8371 or the mobile number +1 360-274-8371 and then pick up their food at the 103 Huntington Ave N location. There is no mention of delivery services in the provided reviews, so local users who require delivery would need to inquire directly with the restaurant or check if they are available on any third-party food delivery platforms. The service experience seems to vary, with one reviewer focused on the food quality issues and the other on the positive aspects of the food and the desire for dine-in seating.

The features of Reng Hua that can be gleaned from the reviews include the availability of an appetizer combo (though one customer had a negative experience with it), and a menu that can offer fresh and plentiful food (according to one positive review). However, the inconsistency in food quality, as highlighted by the hair found in the crab puff and the dried-out BBQ pork, is a significant concern. The takeout-only nature of the restaurant is also a key feature that potential customers need to be aware of. The contrasting experiences suggest that while Reng Hua has the potential to provide good food and generous portions, there might be issues with quality control and consistency that could lead to negative experiences.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Reng Hua. Local users interested in finding out about any discounts or promotions should contact the restaurant directly using the provided phone numbers. It is common for restaurants to offer specials, especially for takeout orders, so it would be worthwhile to inquire if any are currently available.

In conclusion, Reng Hua in Castle Rock, Washington, is a Chinese restaurant that operates on a takeout-only basis. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one recent experience highlighting significant food quality and hygiene issues, while another praised the food for being great, fresh, and plentiful with generous portions. This inconsistency suggests that local users considering Reng Hua should be aware of the potential for both positive and negative experiences. The lack of dine-in service is also a key factor to consider. It would be prudent for new customers to perhaps place a small initial order to assess the current quality and standards before placing a larger order. Contacting the restaurant directly for any information on their menu, current quality control measures, and any promotions might also be beneficial.

We ordered the appetizer combo... obviously to go, as they don't allow dine in. We have ate there many times in the past and have had good food.. within the last few years after having continuous bad experiences, we keep saying, "we will give them on more chance." Not after tonight! Never again! I found a hair in my crab puff and my bbq pork felt like it just came out of the fridge and was super dried out!

Food was great, fresh, and plentiful. 3 meals and 1 appetizer was more than enough for a family of 5 with leftovers! We would return but it would be better if there was indoor seating.

Closest to "NY" style Chinese food we've found in Kelso Longview area. Had beef and broccoli, house fried rice, house lol mein. Not a lot of meat in the rice nor lo mein (what you see in pictures on top is it) Yes, it is take out only.

The place looks dirty and has a bad smell to it. I almost walked out while waiting for my to go order. Our soup smelt burnt and old. The fried rice and fried chicken was mushy. We won’t be eating here again.

Service was good, the food was really nice and the portion sizes were huge! I chose the house combination: Sesame chicken and Mongolian beef and it came with Pork fried rice and fried shrimp for $11.99. Great value for money, relaxing environment and friendly people made it a really enjoyable pit stop on the way to Ape Cave. Will def be back
