One reviewer described their meal as "incredible" and expressed profound satisfaction with the dishes they sampled. They specifically highlighted the Green Sichuan Pepper Beef and the Shredded Pork with Green Peppers, both of which were deemed "absolutely delicious." The Green Sichuan Pepper Beef was lauded as a standout, featuring tender beef slices in a flavorful and numbing broth infused with green peppercorns, fresh herbs, and chili. The reviewer noted the "perfect balance of heat" and the signature tingling sensation that is characteristic of addictive Sichuan cuisine.
The Shredded Pork with Green Peppers also received high praise, described as being "stir-fried to perfection" with an ideal level of spice and a satisfying crunch from the fresh green peppers. According to the reviewer, every bite was "bursting with savory goodness," further emphasizing the culinary expertise at Red Pepper.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service at Red Pepper is consistently described as "friendly." The ambiance is characterized as "comfortable and welcoming," suggesting a pleasant environment for diners to enjoy their meals. The reviewer who sampled the two standout dishes concluded by highly recommending Red Pepper to fans of "bold, authentic Sichuan flavors," placing it at the top of their list.
Another customer echoed the positive sentiments, describing the food as "delicious" and noting the "great portion size." They ordered the braised pork and potatoes over rice bowl and found it "very yummy." The service was also commended as "friendly" and appropriately attentive without being intrusive. This reviewer provided valuable insight into the spice levels, noting that their dish, marked as a level 1 spice, was "barely spicy." They suggested that individuals with a typical "Caucasian American spice tolerance" should feel comfortable increasing the spice level to a 2 for a more noticeable heat. This guidance can be particularly helpful for those unsure about their spice preference when ordering.
Furthermore, this reviewer highlighted the excellent value, mentioning that they enjoyed the lunch special for only $10 per person. This indicates that Red Pepper offers affordable options, especially during lunchtime, making it accessible to a wider range of customers looking for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.
The only minor reservation in this review was regarding the atmosphere, which received 4 out of 5 stars. The reviewer noted that it was "a little bit loud," attributing this potentially to their personal sensory sensitivities. However, they still described the overall "vibes" as "good," suggesting that the noise level might not be an issue for all diners.

I had an incredible meal at Red Pepper and couldn’t be more impressed. We ordered the Green Sichuan Pepper Beef and Shredded Pork with Green Peppers, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The Green Sichuan Pepper Beef was a standout — tender beef slices served in a flavorful, numbing broth filled with green peppercorns, fresh herbs, and chili. It had the perfect balance of heat and that signature tingling sensation that makes Sichuan cuisine so addictive. The Shredded Pork with Green Peppers was equally satisfying — stir-fried to perfection with just the right amount of spice and crunch from the fresh green peppers. Every bite was bursting with savory goodness. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was comfortable and welcoming. If you’re a fan of bold, authentic Sichuan flavors, Red Pepper should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!
Delicious, and great portion size. I ordered the braised pork and potatoes over rice bowl, and it was very yummy. Friendly service that doesn't bother you by talking too much or interrupting beyond what's necessary. My food was marked a level 1 spice, and it was barely spicy. If you have a Caucasian American spice tolerance, feel free to bump the spice up to a level 2 and you should be fine. Great price too! We got the lunch special, and it was only $10 per person. Giving the atmosphere 4 stars because it's a little bit loud, but that's probably just me being autistic/my sensory sensitivity. Good vibes tho!
Delicious food with good portion sizes. Authentic Sichuanese cuisine. Just the right amount of Mala flavor in the dishes.
Awesome awesome place. Big portion sizes, delicious food. The one in front is an eggplant in garlic sauce over noodles lunch special and the one behind is pork and potato over rice lunch special. I couldn’t be happier with what I got and neither could my husband. The service is a little hands off, but in a nice way. It feels unobtrusive rather than in your face. Nothing to complain about but much to enjoy.
We went here for the first day of restaurant week! It was such a great deal - $65 for 4 dishes and everything was so yummy. I would come back just for the green beans and cumin beef noodles. Mapo tofu was ok
