Red Pepper Chinese Restaurant

I ordered the house fried rice online, but it tasted soapy. The soy sauce was sweet; is it not supposed to be salty?

I Order the vegetables fried rice and sweet and sour chicken . The chicken had an odd / bad taste . I brought it back and ask the lady in the front can I get a different type of chicken or anything else to eat she refuses and she would not refund me my money either . I paid 15.14 plus 5$ cash tip for food I could not eat . Bad customer service and strange tasting food .

Ordered shrimp lo mein and spare ribs today. I got five skinny dried up ribs drowned in a red sweet sauce, they didn't taste fresh at all and they were very gamey. I called the restaurant and told them that I didn't order any sauce on my ribs and the guy told me that that's how they come with barbecue sauce, I didn't order barbecue sauce on them and that sweet stuff is NOT barbecue sauce, it was super red and watery, and extremely sweet.... I explain to him that I am a diabetic and I can't have any of the sweet sauces and he replied (and?) totally OBLIVIOUS, disregarding what I said! I told him that he should inform his customers that the spare ribs are in red sweet sauce!! Spare ribs and barbecue ribs are two different things!!!!! He didn't even answer me. Never again will they get my business, my friends nor my family!!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was very good, especially their egg rolls. Which are usually hard to find good ones. The rice was yellow instead of brown, could’ve been better but not bad. Also, the boneless ribs were yummy! Overall good experience will order from them again.

Food was fresh , portion was ample, delivery was prompt. I give 5 stars . I wasn't expecting Wo Hop quality and it isn't NYC Chinese take out however I liked how the chef refrained from using flavor enhancers such as premade commercial sauces or MSG. One of the common Chinese ingredient cloud ear or wood ear fungus normally found in Moo Shoo dishes was absent, probably to keep costs down . I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because I ate at home.
