Very underrated I would say! It is a casual spot but still very nice on the inside, open air to the casino. We ordered the duck and the oxtail soup and both were very good! Sometimes it is hard to find protein forward dishes in Vegas and these two hit the spot! Lychee martini was equally good!

We had high hopes and waited 1hr+, but left hungry and disappointed. We ordered mapo tofu, Singapore noodles, and the steamed spareribs. rice is $7/bowl - how does this not come with the mapo tofu? they didn’t tell us this was extra, and we got two small bowls - once for each person. the steamed spareribs are very oily, and the Singapore noodles was nothing special. Not to mention we waited another 30mins+ for our food, and I had to have our server check in on it. It is too expensive for what it is. Very disappointed in the poor service and poor food quality.

Cantonese crispy beef brisket and oxtail soup are delicious! I got handmade cat ear noodles with my soup, and they came out looking like… worms? They were tasty though! Dim sum is disappointingly not as good as I would have expected for such expensive prices. Pork pastries are bland, while the Shanghainese pork soup fried dumplings are way too overspiced. King Crab dumplings are good!

Red 8 was on the top of our list during our recent trip to Las Vegas and did not disappoint. We went specifically for Dim Sum and were delighted with everything we chose. Prices were reasonable, portions were generous and the quality of ingredients outstanding. Cocktail selections were original and delicious; one of our party doesn’t imbibe and enjoyed an equally delightful mocktail. We had Sticky Rice wrapped in Lotus leaves and all agreed it was superb, fresh with delicately balanced seasoning. We also enjoyed chicken congee, one order easily feeding three of us and served with an assortment of pickled toppings that really elevated the experience. Soup dumplings elicited oohs and aahs, delicate with a lovely broth. Marinated cucumbers were a fresh bite, again perfectly seasoned. For a sweet treat the egg custard tarts were perfect, with an incredibly tender, flaky crust. Service was professional and prompt and the ambiance is just lovely. Absolutely the best dim sum we’ve had this side of Guangzhou.
