About Raytown To Go Chinese

Welcome to Raytown To Go Chinese, a Chinese restaurant located at 11529 E 63rd St in Raytown, Missouri. As the name suggests, this establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category primarily focuses on takeout and potentially delivery services, catering to customers looking to enjoy Chinese cuisine at home or elsewhere. Based on the limited customer reviews available, there are contrasting opinions regarding the food quality and service consistency at Raytown To Go Chinese.

One customer shared a highly positive experience after deciding to try the restaurant based on recommendations from their daughters. They ordered the Szechuan shrimp (specifying no mushrooms) with fried rice for takeout. Although they received regular rice instead of fried rice, they noted that the rice was hot, fresh, and so good they could eat it plain. When they opened the Szechuan shrimp, they were impressed by the crispness and freshness of the vegetables, the perfect level of spice in the sauce, and the fact that the food was still hot upon arrival home. They also mentioned that there was a generous amount of shrimp and that their request to omit mushrooms was correctly followed. This reviewer concluded by stating that the Szechuan shrimp was "definitely one of the best places I’ve ever gotten szechuan shrimp from," indicating a high level of satisfaction with their order.

However, another customer reported a severely negative experience with their order of shrimp and chicken fried rice. They specifically requested white meat chicken only. Upon receiving their order, they discovered that the chicken was not cooked properly, describing it as still pink, mushy, and inedible. When they contacted the restaurant to address this issue, the response they received from a lady was that white meat comes that way. The customer attempted to explain that the chicken was raw, but the lady insisted that it was prepared as it should be. As a result, the customer was left hungry and expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating they would not recommend the restaurant unless someone enjoys "raw chicken and shrimp that is unknown." They even included a picture as evidence of the undercooked chicken. This review raises significant concerns about the food safety and quality control at Raytown To Go Chinese, as well as the restaurant's handling of customer complaints regarding potentially undercooked food.

Given the name "Raytown To Go Chinese" and the nature of the reviews (one takeout, one unclear but involving a phone call about a takeout order), it is highly likely that this restaurant primarily focuses on takeout services. The environment would likely be a functional space for order placement and pickup, with perhaps a minimal or no dine-in area. The emphasis would be on efficient preparation and packaging of food for off-premises consumption. Details about the restaurant's ambiance, décor, or seating are not provided in the reviews, and it is reasonable to assume they are secondary to the takeout operation.

In terms of services, the primary service offered by Raytown To Go Chinese is clearly takeout. The positive reviewer picked up their order, and the negative reviewer also seems to have gotten a takeout order that they consumed at home. It is possible that they also offer delivery services, although this is not explicitly mentioned in the reviews. Customers would likely place their orders by phone or in person at the counter. The handling of customer complaints, as indicated by the negative review, appears to be an area where improvement might be needed.

Features of Raytown To Go Chinese, based on the positive review, include the ability to prepare dishes with specific requests (no mushrooms), a good level of spiciness in their Szechuan sauce, fresh and hot ingredients (vegetables and rice), and generous portions (plenty of shrimp). The fact that one long-time local resident's daughters recommended the place also suggests a generally positive reputation within at least one segment of the community. However, the serious issue of potentially raw chicken reported by another customer is a significant negative feature that cannot be ignored. The inconsistency in food quality and the dismissive response to a food safety concern are major drawbacks.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for Raytown To Go Chinese in the provided data. In conclusion, Raytown To Go Chinese at 11529 E 63rd St in Raytown, MO, is a Chinese restaurant that primarily serves takeout customers and may offer delivery. While one customer praised their Szechuan shrimp for its flavor, freshness, and customization, another reported receiving raw chicken in their fried rice and expressed serious concerns about food safety. This stark contrast in experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in food preparation and quality control. Prospective customers should be aware of these differing reviews when considering ordering from Raytown To Go Chinese. For more information on their menu, services, and any current promotions, contacting the restaurant directly is advised. Given the serious food safety allegation, it might be prudent to exercise caution.

I popped in on a regular Thursday. I wanted something spicy and to give this place a try because my daughters have given it so much praise. I ordered the Szechuan shrimp (no mushrooms) with fried rice and took it home. When I got home and opened the food I noticed that I did not get fried rice. Instead it was regular rice. No big deal. The rice was hot and fresh. I could eat it plain it was so good. I then opened up the szechuan shrimp and the vegetables were so crisp and fresh! The sauce had the perfect amount of spice and the food was still hot! There was plenty of shrimp and they left out the mushrooms (as requested). Definitely one of the best places I’ve ever gotten szechuan shrimp from. 💜

I ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice I always order my chicken white meat only. I called to the restaurant because my meat was not done and it was still pink. The lady said when you order white meat it comes like that, if was so bad I couldn’t put it in my mouth it was mushy and all. but I was trying to tell her it’s not done she said it comes like that and that was that and I was hungry for the rest of the night. I would not recommend going unless you like raw chicken and shrimp that is unknown. Below is a picture of the nonsense.

I love the food here. We order at least once a month. We were getting over sickness and had a long week so we opted for delivery. They forgot my noodles and I called to let them know and the lady wanted me to go there and pick it up. Then she wanted to argue that she put it in my bag. You may have out it in a bag but it was not mine. And I ordered it for delivery and paid extra for delivery. Weve never had them mess up like this before but the fact that she was pretty much telling me I was lying, plus asking me to come pick it up after paying extra is BS. Sad to say this may be our last time eating here. Which is really sad. I get that it's Friday night and you are probably busy but maybe slow down and make sure things are being done correctly. And you shouldn't call a customer a liar. Especially considering we spent almost $50. We only get to eat out one night a week. And to have this type of experience is pretty sad.

It's Christmas Eve, I had to order delivery because I don't drive and I had to pay with cash so options are limited. It was pizza or Chinese... I ordered a house tray appetizer, egg drop soup, and Singapore Mei Fun. It arrived quickly but unfortunately it was terrible. The soup was cold, the house tray was so greasy it was soggy, and the Mei Fun was the worst I've ever had from anywhere, ever! It was poorly seasoned and the "chicken" was mushy and questionable to say the least. I spent $35 and the only thing I ate was the crispy noodles that came with the soup.
